Home Servers Explained
Server Security
D-Terminal
Digital-U Station
Digi-Farm
The Home Servers are not actually stored in the respective cities of the two Teams, but are actually each their own little Universe as they are each their own little server. Each Home Server has about the area of an individual apartment of decent size. You can add-on to your Home-Server with more rooms/sub-boards by purchasing home additions in the Digi-Mart. There is a control panel that allows the Tamer to customize the layout, appearance, and the content within their Home Server as they like. By selecting the options they want and typing in the commands into the control panel the data streams and scanners will Digi-struct (digital construction) the living space. While it is basically a hologram, it will all look, feel and behave as real matter in this digital zone. After all, your body is digital as well.
Server Security
A Home Server can only be accessed through a gate portal opened by the Digivice. A Tamer's Home Server is specifically registered to their Digivice and thus only their Digivice can unlock the gate to enter. However, a Tamer can access the security grid to their own Home Server through the control panel and choose to allow in another Tamer if they wish. It works similar to how one may add an exception to a blocked site or blocked pop-ups, a Tamer would simply open their server to the other Tamer's Digivice specifically, thus keeping out unwanted guests.
D-Terminal
Along with the D-Arc Digivice Tamers also receive a D-Terminal which is basically a pocket computer. It has a map to the digital world, holds event and quest/mission data, as well as CrossWire announcements and other notices. It also can hold a lot of personal information, can access the IC forums and can also send messages to other D-Terminals. Each Home Server will have a OOC (out of character) sub-board dedicated to their D-Terminal. It is here that we require each member to post their Digimon Information, such as which Digimon they have and their techniques along with their Digivolutions as they unlock them. You can also create plotting and relationship threads and even a thread for D-Terminal messaging. It's a board to do what you please in, which means you can put whatever you want in it and whatever information you wish to hold there. Keep in mind it is OOC though and is not meant for role play, other than perhaps IC message sending. Members will not receive any bits or experience for posting in these boards. The CrossWire BBS board is the IC forum that also contains a D-Terminal directory.
Digital-U Station
This is a device built into each and every home server. It almost looks like a high tech photo booth of sorts. Once the Tamer is inside it will scan a Tamer's data and copy every single square inch of their body, both inside and out. It basically works as a respawn system. When a Tamer is "killed", or more accurately when their data is "destroyed", the Digi-U Station creates an exact replica of the Tamer's data and thus puts all of their data back together and forms a new Digital body for them to use. So just like a video game, this is sort of like a check point and whenever a Tamer is "destroyed" they will find themselves waking up in this booth. The only consequences to this involve running out of Life Points which you can read around in the Digital World Features information.
A few other features built in are some side attachments. One is a small egg incubator which compiles the data of a "destroyed" Digimon partner and respawns their egg. The other being a touch screen with an endless catalog of different pieces of clothing, outfits and accessories. It basically acts like a digital closet which allows the Tamer to dress themselves however they please.

Digi-Farm
The Home Server comes with an optional add-on which is known as a Digi-Farm which will be added into your Home Server as a sub-board. By purchasing the add-on equipment in the Digi-Mart it will tack on a large, closed off area alongside your Home Server that can be used exclusively for training with your Digimon by using the purchased equipment. Note that you cannot use someone else's Digi-Farm for training nor can they use yours. It is only registered to your Digimon and thus it can only load and hold their data for training purposes.
The Digi-Farm equipment will give you a small bonus of Experience Points each week you train and perhaps move things on especially if some of the threads you are involved in are moving a little slow. Note that your training does not have to solely be involved around your Digimon using the training equipment, they could also spar for example. There are some requirements that must be met however. In order to gain the experience bonus your solo training post in your Digi-Farm sub-board must be at least 300 words in length. If the training post is any longer than that then you may end up earning some extra XP as well since we do award detail and description. However, by rule you cannot earn more than a total of 1000 experience points per week in a Digi-Farm. You can only make one training post each as well so use it wisely. This is to avoid members focusing solely on training their Digimon or earning an absurd amount of bonus XP each week by making ridiculously long training posts. We would rather have you focus on role playing with others as well as focus on character and plot development.
Just like any other thread, when a training post has been submitted then you must post in the experience notification thread to let staff know that your training has been completed and it needs experience awarded. Also note that each training week resets on Monday. Meaning you could indeed train two days in a row if you hold off your training until Sunday for one week and then do it again on Monday immediately when it resets for the next week.
