Sand dunes fill the area, hiding the large deserted ruins in its center from all around. Wind whisks the grains of sand around the area causing visibility to visitors a mess depending on the winds speed that day. At its heart are the Thriller Ruins themselves, standing tall despite the massive loss of walls and ceilings over time. It's long since flooded with sand in the majority of its unsheltered rooms and halls, though if searched long enough Tamers may find areas untouched by it's environment if they travel underground.

Gouged into the continent between Chip Forest and Thriller Ruins is the large canyon separating the two areas apart. Though it's possible to cross to the opposite sides by foot the travel to do so is dangerous and physically exerting. With fragile edges and small one-man paths leading to the canyons bottom not many Tamers choose to travel through it's tough terrain let alone cross the area by foot. At it's bottom flows a slow moving river and when the temperature and weather conditions are right the area will flood.

Resting between the humid jungle and divided away by a large crack in the Digital Earth from its neighboring desert ruins the Chip Forest is beautiful landscape of large trees, flowers, and fields. It's temperature is cooler and much more relaxing then it's jungle neighbor to it's left though lacks the exotic tropical feel that the jungle holds. Slow moving lakes snake their way through the compacted trees, large open fields making their presence every so often. The forest itself ends near the edge of its area, border-lining the steep cliff edge and canon below it with flat grass fields.

A large system of twists, turns, and disgusting water makes up the Sunken Tunnel. Greenish water flows from open pipes and down the maze like canal system, making its way deep into the systems core or out into the ocean surround its base. Walkways and small metal platforms lead any visitors through its maze system to either exits or the core of it's sewage plant. With the unpleasant smell and revolting water flowing throughout the tunnel most Tamers tend to stay clear and visit when necessary.

A vast, some-what humid tropical jungle; plant life ranging from palm trees that reach above normal length and flowers of any color imaginable have infested the area. Paths walked on by Digimon have long since tamed the nature below their feet revealing to those who visit a guideline as well as colors other then green. Despite it's beautiful appearance the humidity of the area has left it undesirable by many due to its heat. If one does travel far enough they'll meet the ocean at its border though large rocks and rough currents make unsuitable for swimming, as well as a fresh water stream that leads to the sea and the jungles neighboring mountain valley and waterfall.

Made up of large platform areas connected together by rickety bridges and uphill paths Tamers and Digimon must climb this valley gets more difficult the higher one goes. Large boulders block some of the edges of the flat platforms as well as brown leaved palm trees and bushes. At the base of the valley the heat from the neighboring jungle makes it presence known though with every escalation upward the climate becomes cooler. It's warned to keep attention to the surroundings due to possible landslides, bridge collapses, fragile edges, and strong Digimon the higher Tamers go.

Murky slow-moving waters surround and cover the mossy floor while dense vegetation makes navigation through the swamp nearly impossible. In certain areas the swamps thick brush thins out to open areas of muddy water and small aquatic flowers and grass take its place. There's few places within the swamp lands that waters won't reach knee high, though with fall logs still above the water from slow sinking mud an alternative way around is possible.

Despite the near constant rainfall of the Amazon it's climate is humid and moist. It's natural residents – such as plant-life and vegetation – nearly double in size due to the high nutrients in the soil, making the whole area seem as if time stood still to allow everything to flourish. The loud sound of waterfalls can be heard in the distance near the Amazons north border towards Login Mountain but with their size and fast paced water flow makes swimming a hazard.

Deep black rocks and wood panels lining out entrances into the dark toned mountain makes up for the outer portion of the mine. It's base is covered in grayed soil and scattered debris and rocks from excavations that had litter value to its finder. Within the tunnel systems are more entrances to travel farther in as well as scattered lantern posts and large hollowed out rooms. Though the mountain is still sturdy the occasion rockfall and tunnel collapse occur at random.

Within the more natural areas of the Digital World stands a tall factory of all metal, copper and wire. The generators that power the millions of large gadgets within its doors constantly run, causing a continues buzzing noise to fill the whole area. Within its walls are large rooms of metal; machines of unknown use and screens projecting numbers and algorithms cram nearly every inch of every room. It wouldn't be wise to taper with the Factories seemingly delicate works given each button and machines use could vary from harmless to deadly.

Some ways from the main continent is a frozen wasteland of snow, ice and subzero temperature. Strong Digimon call this area home due to its never changing temperature and rough environment. Through snow doesn't constantly fall here the ground is always covered with it, hiding the ice ground and occasional pit falls within the glacier. The water around the large island-like glacier is much colder then the surrounding sea; occasionally chunks of ice will break, falling into the sea to float until dissolved.

Rocks tinted a deep red and blooms of smoke and haze covering most of the area make up the abyss. It's black sand beach circling around it's perimeter is far from the idea of a comfortable place to stay. Lava spills from lava tubes within the large, active volcano base and into the ocean; smoke from the elemental disturbance covering the beach with thick haze. The temperature of the whole area is hotter than many can imagine due to the constant lava flow, and if Tamers venture into the volcanoes cave system the heat will steadily increase.
