Academy Summary
Team Points
The Chōkyōshi Academy, or Tamer Academy, was established by CrossWire server as a way to introduce the beta testers into the Digital World. It is almost like a walk through one would encounter when first entering a game. It also acts as a help desk of sorts. The teachers here are actually employees of CrossWire Server and they teach classes on a regular basis about the basics in the Digital World. While these classes are not mandatory it is highly suggested that a new Tamer sit in on a few classes with their Digimon. They discuss the structure and features of the Digital World as well as the features of the environment that CrossWire has made for you. They also teach the basics of raising and training Digimon and also hold training and sparring events at the Coliseum.
NOTE: This is all in-character and the teachers will be NPCs, basically it's a way to explain how your character may have received the information that you already know yourself through reading information around the forum and site. Feel free to role play as you please with others here by perhaps meeting at the academy, discussing classes or taking one together or even meeting up to train and spar at the Coliseum.

Team Points
The Academy highly supports rivalry between the two teams, they even have created a point system to promote friendly competition. Tamers can earn points for the team that they are on by completing quests and missions that are given out at the respective offices for each team. The Infinity Office in Hikari City is obviously where members of Team Infinity would go to find quests while those in Team Oblivion would go to the Oblivion Office in Kurai City to sign up for quests. How many points each quest is worth will be listed alongside with other important information and details for that particular quest. Besides just quests and plot based missions, members can also earn points for their Team through advancing with Digivolution. Also when the Academy hosts tournaments each win one Team gets over the other will earn points as well.
After a certain duration of time (a month or most likely more) the Team with the highest points will win a reward and the points will be reset back to zero. Now the reward for the winning team members could vary. Most likely it may involve a bonus of Life Points, Bits, Experience, or more specifically an opportunity to earn Double XP for a thread.
