partners summery Trying to keep her mind focused on the Champion before her and the teams while still keeping an eye out for Theo to reappear Kate gets startled by the Lopmon getting her attention. Understanding the plan it relayed to her in hand gestures - paw... gestures? - Kate watches her three Digimon agree to what was laid out before taking to their designated spots around the Minotarumon, using the fog as cover. notes i wasn't sure if i should be the first to write out the attack so i left it for you to go first </3 i hope thats okay! She wanted to call out to Theo to see if he was alright but she couldn't. She couldn't even think of breathing let alone vocalize words. Valar had told her not to breath in the fog that rolled over her and the rest the two teams from the monsters mouth. Her lungs slowly burned and her heart raced. She had to keep her mind focused on not taking the deep breath her body was beginning to crave. Staring into to fog she managed to see the figure of the creature that produced the basically poisonous air around them. Size played a huge part in tracking its slow movements; if he had been smaller it's figure wouldn't have been so blacked out in this blurry scene, leaving it virtually invisible. Her eyes squinted in a glare as stared at it, half making sure it wouldn't just vanish somewhere and appear in front of her to attack and half in annoyance. It was causing so much trouble for them; it had hurt one of Theo's Digimon and may possibly hurt one of her own if this battle continued, not to mention it was the cause for all the worry clawing at her mind and emotions. She was worried about her Digimon, Theo's Digimon and the Tamer himself. A small whimper crept in her throat as she anxiously stood still with her eyes locked on the Minotarumon's figure. She slowly stepped forward, cautious of the noise she may make with the step as her eyes went to the Digimon in front of her. She was glad she could still see their outlines despite not being able to say anything to them. Her attention drifted from the Digimon to the direction Theo had wandered off to in order to grab Oswald. Thoughts and questions wondered into her mind: she wondered if he had gotten the Digimon, if it was alright, if he was alright and had heard not to breath in the air and if he would come into sight soon. So many questions. Shaking her head to try to settle her thoughts in a way that she could focus on the task at hand Kate pulled herself from staring into the fog waiting to see Theo. He'd be fine, the room wasn't so big and Valar had spoken his words loud and clear; he was fine, perfectly fine... As she brought her attention back to the Digimon before her the sight of the Lopmon near her face caused her to jump back, nearly tripping and falling to the ground in surprise. Grumbling a bit as she looked back at the rabbit Digimon before her as her heart began to beat slower once again Kate watched it's movements. It was obvious it was some sort of plan to take down the Minotarumon they were facing and from the little – and rather cute – hand motions and signs Kate nodded in agreement. They were to circle around the thing then strike, simple enough plan and effective. They'd surely have to deal some damage to the thing like that, though she wondered if it'd be enough to fully defeat it or just wound it long enough to run. Biting her lip she glanced to her three Digimon who had turned to watch the Lopmon's hand signals and movements that relayed their plan. Normally they probably wouldn't have followed it or at least had some form of complaint about following someone else orders but at this moment doing such a thing would be foolish. All three nodded in agreement, or in some way showed they'd follow. Nymeria and Summer darted into the fog, keeping their distance from the Minotarumon and themselves hidden in the thick gas as they got in their needed positions. Valar stayed for a moment, eyeing his Tamer before taking off in the same direction of his pack though closer to Kate. With their positions set the Gabumon sub-species all took aim for the large Digimons figure, each jaw opening and producing their specific attacks to be launched.

| A wave of relief washed over Atreyu as the Tamer and her trio of Digimon understood; re-coordinating themselves around the gigantic shadow of their foe. Vincent headed after Nymeria and Summer, his ear crests hanging low. Soon, the coordinator himself was turning away to re-position himself closer to the Minotarumon, his mouth falling open in preparation to fire the cerulean bullets. The beast itself was a growling silhouette amongst the fog, immense and intimidating. However, the Lopmon didn't care to allow his possible fear of the enemy to cloud his mind, nor bring hesitation to the fore. Instead he fired, aiming for the torso of the bipedal bull. Vincent was quick to do the same, coughing out fireballs that burst against the target's chest. The monster howled and threw up its metallic arm, before digging it deep into the earth. Meanwhile, with the Minotarumon distracted, Theo had the perfect opportunity to escape back to the others. As the creature howled, Theo dashed forward, keeping as close to the side of the room as possible. He kept a tight hold on Oswald, worried in case he dropped him in the rush back to the others. He fumbled slightly as the Minotarumon punched its Demon Arm into the ground, yet continued to run. From behind him he heard the a high-pitched squeal and something that resembled a drill starting up. Confused, he felt an urge to turn back and look. Turning his head, he caught sight of the Champion level's head rising from the fog. What is it up to? With no time further to question it; his chest screaming from want of air, he made it the rest of the way back, coming to a stop near Kate. The instant he made it, he slid to the floor - absolutely spent. This was way more exhausting than he'd expected from a game such as this. From behind them, the drilling sound continued, growing ever louder and more ominous. Atreyu glanced over at Vincent, who's expression seemed as bored-looking as ever. Yet there was something else that flashed across his lidded gaze; worry. It was minor, almost miss-able in this mist, but, due to Atreyu's good eyesight and observant ways, he picked up on it swiftly. Unable to speak due to the slight chance that the fading veil was still able to exact a malady of some sort, he simply turned away. Their band of four was an odd one to be certain. Lacking in the particular expression categories - not that Atreyu was complaining - it appeared as if they were just another broken group. Yet they managed to band together, much like this female Tamer and her Digimon were working together as one with them. It felt... strange, but somehow nice. Even despite his need to be in solitude an awful lot of the time. The enemy may have sustained damage, yet it was still very much capable of causing harm itself. Luckily the preparation for this particular attack would take some time, but if it managed to pull it off... The havoc it may very well cause would be tremendous - an earthquake was not a good idea this far underneath the ruins. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SUMMARY
- Theo manages to get back to the others, whilst Atreyu and Vincent rearrange themselves around the Minotarumon firing their ranged techniques at it respectively (Blazing Ice, Ardent Flare).
- The Minotaru is currently preparing its most deadly (in this circumstance) attack: Earthquake Drill.

partners summery Her Digimon fire their attacks at the Minotarumon once Theo's does. Summer uses Flame Burst on its back, causing burn and contact damage; Valar uses Napalm Shot at its Demon Arm shoulder, causing burn and contact damage; Nymeria uses RGB, selecting the color 'red' and triggering a fire element attack at its normal arm. As the beast howls in pain and prepares an attack Kate watches Theo come towards her, relief hitting her as she goes to his side when he collapses from exhaustion.
In an attempt to stop/ slow down the process of its attack Nymeria launches herself towards it, stabbing her horn charged with Psychedelic Crisis into its unprotected. the move lands, the data from the attack sinking into its system and causing drug like effects to take over. Before she could get to a safe distance Nymeria is hit by its arm, flinging her against a wall where she's knocked out cold upon falling to the ground. Close to degenerating.
At the sight of their pack mate attacked and flung to the wall Summer and Valar attack wildly, Summer clawing and biting at the Minotarumon's back using Scorching Grapple while Valar attacks its sides/ rib cage area using Napalm Trigger.
Hearing the whine coming from Nymeria Kate is stricken with worry and fear, unsure of what to do and fighting back the urge to run to her partner. notes ilyy It seemed they were at a disadvantaged against this huge beast, it didn't need to be said even if that was a possibility. With the fog around them and their attention and focus being on their attacks towards whatever area they could hit that would cause damage Valar, Nymeria and Summer all had the same feeling. They were worried, not for their own safety but of their Tamer; deep within their core they were protective of that girl from the start, brought her into their close nit family within seconds of meeting each other. That was the usual for relationships between a Digimon and their Tamer on the bottom line. Each one knew they'd be fine against this Champion, not in terms of winning the match but by the concept of 'death' their Tamer had questions a few times with them in privacy. The life of a Digimon was different and though they couldn't see her life being anything other way than their own they could never answer the questions regarding the subject. They attentions drifted to the two Digimon outside their pack as they attacked, each of them launching their own assault on the Champion level Digimon to further the overall damage. Summer hit his backside, Nymeria taking the normal beast like arm, while Valar hit it's uncovered vulnerable shoulder. The cry of pain that echoed through the foggy room rang in their ears causing each to flatten down to their skulls in attempts to lower its piecing volume. The sound of the ground being hit with something hard and with force took the trio by surprise though watching it's bulky shadow explained to them quickly what the Digimon was trying to do. Through exact name and effect was beyond their knowledge the outcome seemed rather grim. Whatever it was planning seemed huge, much more dangerous then it had done prior. Worry swept through their expressions for a brief moment in regards to their Tamer and, though a bit, for the boy she had befriended. They're care would only reach so far for a stranger though any traumatic loss before her eyes would result in pain for the girl, this they knew for certain. - - - - - - - - - - - If her eye sight wasn't bad enough the fog that stayed around her was making her feel even more blind. Rubbing her eyes from behind her glasses carefully her attention peaked as the makeshift team attacked the large figure they circled. The screech of pain sent a wave of hope and joy through her, a smile spreading on her chapped lips as her mind momentarily forgot the burning in her chest. It was odd to mentally cheer when hearing cries of pain but in this situation she thought it was appropriate to some extent. This creature would kill her, Theo and their Digimon is able to, or at least this was the outcome she stubbornly kept in her head. Her hands shook as the noise from it's demon arm plunged into the ground erupted and cut it's pained howl. Her hope and joy faded slightly away, the burning from her lack of breathing clawing once again at every nerve ending it could get to. Her body was feeling weak and her mind hazed just like the fog obscuring her vision. It was beginning to fade away though it was clear it'd take its time and fear of even a little of it in her system kept her mouth closed shut and air ways burning. Hearing foot steps to the side of her Kate blinked, her head clearing for a moment as she turned to watch Theo's figure emerge towards her, only to fall to the ground in what she could easily assume to be exhaustion. Clamping her hand over her mouth Kate resisted the urge to say the boys name and ask if he was alright; instead she crouched to the ground, her hand laying on his shoulder as she stared down at him. She wanted to speak though doing so would result in her breathing the toxic air. A small whimper left her throat softly though it was something better than silence. - - - - - - - - - - - Frustration formed in the packs mind, each trying to come up with something to do in order to stop it from continuing with its move. As the two thought it was Nymeria that came up with a possible solution before the others in her pack. The fog around her and the rest of the Digimon was fading, the silhouette of the Champion they faced now showed it's color rather than its once lack of detail shadow. A small growl emerged from the Psychemon's parting lips before it charged forward, launching itself up from the ground on four legs before slamming into the beasts unprotected arm with her horn. This was dangerous, that she knew deep in her mind under the emotions she felt, but something – anything – needed to be done. This wasn't just a normal move, a normal attempt to damage the creature using her horn; this was a special move of her own. Energy seeped from the sharp horn as it penetrated the beasts arm, flowing through its system rapidly as it howled yet again in pain. It's body dropped suddenly from the drug like effects of the data from her horn, it's large mass falling onto the arm penetrated into the ground as it shook its head in attempts to straighten its mind. Pulling her horn from its arm Nymeria jumped back only to be hit with the arm she had hurt, flinging her body back against a wall with force. A whimper left her jaws as she fell to the ground, sand and rock fragments from the area she had impacted falling on top of her unconscious body. Summer and Valar stared in silence as their pack mate was launched into the wall by the disoriented beast they fought against. Rage washed through them, acting as fuel that charged them forward at the Digimon. Summer clawed onto it's back, biting at its flesh with her sharp, jagged teeth as her fiery claws dug and scratched every inch she could reach. Valar slid himself towards the penetrated demon arm still resting on the ground, aiming his flaming claws at the Digimons vulnerable sides in stabbing and clawing motions. There was no plan of attack, no warning to the other team or even to each other. They were a family, messed up and odd as it may be at times, and seeing one of them attacked as they did sent the remaining over the edge. - - - - - - - - - - - Watching over Theo, her attention barely on the Digimon in front of her due to the boys reappearance she couldn't help but feel relived to a certain extent. She had been worried about the boy ever since he charged to this area and to retrieve the bat-like Digimon still held in his arms. A small smile was on her lips, a smile that formed into a worried and shock ridden frown as the whine of one of her Digimon echoed through the room. Her head shot up, desperately trying to get a glimpse of what had happened as she stood up. The fog around her was fading, though she dared not to breath it in still, and because of that her eyes found Nymeria's body falling to the ground. Both hands clasped over her mouth and one another as she held back a need to call for her by name and run to her; in the back of her mind away from the worry and fear taking over she knew this must have been, at least to some extent, how Theo felt when he saw his Digimon. She didn't know what to do, her eyes flowing to her still Digimon and the rest of her frenzied pack now attacking the beast as much as they could. Her foot took a step before returning back to where it was prior. Her mind was hazy, her body weak from lack of oxygen and her emotions clouding whatever clarity she held onto.
