FLAME HOOK charging its claws with fire element energy it slashes at its foes until contact is made; minor burns can be caused by impact though burns heal fast and do little to no damage on their own. | FLAME BURST from its jaws gabumon x can shoot out bursts of flame in the form of medium sized fire balls for long distance or simple flames if the enemy is trapped in a bite or close-by. | SHIELDING WITHDRAW curling in a tight ball beneath it's shaggy coat gabumon x shields its body from the blunt of an attack using the garurumon fur it wears. | JOUSTING STAB charging forward gabumon x launches itself at the enemy, tackling the foe head first with its body weight and plunging the horn atop its head within the impacted area. | SCORCHING GRAPPLE tackling the foe using it's body weight and strength gabumon x digs it's claws into the enemy, pinning it down before tearing at the opponents body with heated claws and wild movements. fire elemental energy is stored within its claws causing increased pain and damage during extended periods of time in the same spot or open flesh. |

NAPALM TRIGGER blackgabumon charges explosive energy within its claws; when contact is made with an object or foe the data-energy releases, causing a small explosion of flames to erupt at the contact point. small burns are possible if contact is made with the body, though burns are nearly harmless. | NAPALM SHOT shooting a group of small fireballs out of its mouth at the decided location/ target the expelled spheres of flames collect together to form a tight circle once it hits. upon contact one will explode, a chain reaction causing all the fireballs to explode in milliseconds after the first. bursts of flames and small shock waves cause the damage. | SILENT SCOPE closely analyzes the targets movements before blending into the shadows of its environment; once hidden blackgabumon sneaks up on its opponent, sinking it's teeth or slashing at its foe once close enough. the shadows must be larger then blackgabumon's body or else camouflage can't work. | EMERGENCY CALL the pattern on it's stomach glows with the same color of its design while energy is stored within the point of its horn. hunching down the energy is released, surrounding its body in protective data, deflecting incoming attacks and protecting it from harm. | NAPALM PILLAR slamming its claws into the ground blackgabumon causes a large eruption a few feet away from where it hit, it's vertical length engulfing about double of its height. can be used as a defensive/ shielding move as well as damaging. |

COLOR WHEEL targets a specific color within the enemy's coat, analyzing its code and locking on the target via color hue; once the color is selected psychemon generates a ball of compressed multi-colored energy within its jaws before shooting it towards the locked-on color. | PSYCHEDELIC CRISIS psychemon stores energy within it's horn, manifesting corruption data at the point before charging at the opponent and impaling them. upon impact the opponent experiences nausea, hallucinations, and confusion; the state of the drug-like effect and its duration depends heavily on the size of the opponent and impact. | PSYCH! a protective move that shields itself from incoming attacks by projecting a multi-colored force field with its horn. | OVERLAY COLOR blends it's body into the surrounding color palette, essentially camouflaging itself with its current environment. once hidden psychemon swiftly charges at the opponent, biting, slashing or stabbing the opponent at close range. | RGB choosing one of the primary colors and it's corresponding element psychemon charges energy in either its horn, claws, or teeth of the chosen element and attacks the opponent. the color red is the color of fire, green the color of earth, blue the color of water, and if no color is chosen the element is wind. |
HISTORY OF Katherine Palmer
Born the only daughter and youngest of three to a family of wildlife researches Katherine's whole life centered around the outdoors and the famous Yellowstone Park her parents focused primary on. Her life, despite her parents job description and surroundings, were what she herself considers normal; she went to public school, made friends, did everything a normal girl would do. It was her home life that she considered “strange” though highly enjoyable. Her parents, Shannon and Richard Palmer, had always been fond of nature and as their age increased they took the opportunity to work alongside the outdoors. Residing in the state of Wyoming their main focus was Yellowstone and more specificity the wolf population within the park. Over years their numbers had decreased, but with help from human hands and sanctuary raising of newborns, the numbers had steadily went up. But sadly there was always something that held the population from fully blossoming as it had been far in the past – their work was never done, even after the birth of everyone of their children.
When every child was old enough they pitched in with caring for the animals her family was responsible for raising and taking care of until due time, and Katherine was no exception. She had taken to the tasks faster then her brothers had and soon enough her attachment to her work became apparent and rather obsessive. Her feelings towards the animals her parents brought home were that of if they were her families beloved pets but her feelings grew more for the wolf pups she tended to with her father. They were seen as more then pets for her, as friends and siblings in which she felt connected to in a manner she couldn't explain with words. It was a feeling she loved but one she was warned about by her parents – she would one day have to let them go, a thought she continuously pushed from her mind.
Her high school years were troublesome for the young girl; with the stress of life her age brought on and the impending doom date of her beloved friends release Katherine's grades began to slip, her attention on things regarding academics decreasing with every other semester. Though things began to slip it wasn't until her senior year that things fell apart altogether. Things began with one man, a teacher to be exact; he was older then her, someone truly out of her league, but her feelings for the man stayed true. She was naive towards love and emotion, her romantic experience being limited to small dates and kisses with boyfriends lasting no longer then a few months. Despite this her “love” raged on within her brain, her motivation to be around the man only increasing her failure in her studies.
Days passed with months gone and outside her school life the day of release finally showed face. The scene within her home that day was clouded in emotion; she had locked herself in her room crying, refusing to say goodbye to the now grown pups she had helped to raise. In irrational stubbornness she blamed her parents, brothers, and everyone else she could think of for her abandonment; she didn't see their leave as a new beginning for them but rather that she was being left behind and forgotten. Her mind shattered into depression and her once happy attitude became that of silence and annoyance to the world. The only salvation she found was the love she felt for her teacher, her obsessive love of little understanding and ignorance to the very word.
She began to crave attention from her “beloved” and as time pasted her quiet hope for his eyes on hers changed into an act of sending anonymous love letters and notes to his residence. Deep down she knew he'd recognize her, realize his own feelings, and together they'd be happy; but of course things didn't pan out as so. Her letters had turned to the occasional stalking; she would wait for him to leave in his car and with a bike she'd follow him to his home where she'd imagine moments they could spend together. It was surprising things had lasted as long as till the final semester of the school year. She had prepared everything for her confession of love, and when everything was set she told him of her feelings.
Rejection. Her mind played it out as though she was being abandoned again. To anyone else outside her thoughts the rejection was obvious but to Katherine she took it the worst way anyone could. Humiliated from her actions she locked herself within her room and house, refusing to leave no matter what her parents did. Absent days turned into weeks and before long she was doing her final days of school online, locked inside her room with none to talk to but herself. With the solitude she had chosen Katherine had taken to life online; her friends were those who she'd never met, those from all over the world. This was where she found the articles about the upcoming game called “CrossWire” and the various ways to become one of its many Beta Testers in Japan.
At firs the idea of which was silly to her; she had never been a gamer nor had she really been one to use the internet before prior incidents, but as news about the game continued to appear where she went Katherine decided to try her luck. Chances were she'd be denied – the percentage of her being chosen weren't in her favor nor was her hopes high enough to get her excited on the idea. Contest upon contest she saw she entered out of time wasting amusement; her name had been entered so many times she had lost count. Out of the numerous contests she had joined one had chosen her a winner, the idea of which confusing her to no end given her technology-free history. Despite her need to rebuttal against their choices the idea of leaving her home kept her mouth shut. She'd be free of the humiliation she carried, the sadness she felt whenever her parents brought home more of their “work”; everything would be behind her, easily forgotten with the idea of a completely new life.
