Instantly, Junjie entered the large field and was amazed at what he saw. He knew that the Digital World was obviously based and inspired by the real world - but the sheer amount of detail that was placed in the coding make his mouth drop in awe. He took in the presence of the Palette amazon, cerulean eyes wide with amazement. In the distance, he was able to hear the sound of cacophonous waterfalls crashing into lakes below. Despite the rather humid, moist feeling in the area it was calming and peacefully. His own pack seemed to be enjoying the new area the most, with Lian - his Palmon - immediately resting herself against a tree. The plant type seemed to enjoy being so close to her lineage. Fumbling around with his digivice, he sent a message to Yanmei, letting her know where to meet him up with. After having sent his sister a D-Terminal message, he pocketed the device and walked around the Palette Amazon, taking in the serene breadth of the field.
As he walked, the soil seemed to be slightly moist; but not sickeningly so as if it was a swamp. Beads of water glistened on the leaves of flowers that were extended outwards, suggesting it had rained not too long ago - not surprising. Jian lightly flapped his wings, gently gliding through the gentle wind currents alongside Junjie with Bao closely guarding its owner, wary of being in an unfamiliar area. Thankfully, they seemed to be avoiding most of the heat. The thick brush of the tall trees in the forest made it so that at the bottom, where they walked, there was nothing but cool shade. It was a comfortable temperature - at least, to him it was. There were a plethora of odd plants and flower buds that he was tempted to touch, but knew the consequences of messing with nature.
The blond would come across a tree that seemed to have been cut down, sliced neatly right near the very bottom. Sitting down on the tree stump, he began to wait on his sister whom always seemed to be late for basically everything. At times, he wondered why he even bothered with her.. While it was apparent that Yanmei had taken to battling in the digital world rather smoothly, she still managed to lack a depth of knowledge for the locale. She had not been playing very long, so she really didn't know where most places were yet or even how many areas there were that CrossWire even had to offer. With these facts in mind, it was something of a benediction that she was given not only three Digimon fighters to travel around with, but also a twin brother with a trio of his own. Not that she needed his company in the slightest, but she felt that most of the time it was often easier to experience something new when someone familiar was doing it with you. So, armed with these facts, it wasn't a shock that Yanmei was totally down for meeting up with her brother Junjie in the area that he had suggested.
The Palette Amazon; an amazon? She thought that they were to meet at a swamp, instead? Perhaps there was a swamp inside of the amazon, or something... embarrassingly, she wasn't privy on the science of an amazon (or a swamp, for that matter); she felt very certain that an amazon was akin to a jungle, and she figured that swamps were usually inside of jungles. Honestly, she didn't rightly care. An amazon was probably better than a nasty, murky swamp any day anyway. Entering the area, she realized that she had let it slip her mind that her brother told her to dress accordingly, since the amazon was very warm -- naturally, she remembered after she had taken notice of how damned hot she had gotten when she walked into the place.
Luckily, she was so promiscuous free that she often dressed a little scanty anyway. That didn't stop the humidity from still getting to her, causing her to pull her hair up into a ponytail; always prepared for situations like this, she was happy to not be without a hair clip to hold it all together. It didn't take long for her and her Digimon to catch up with her brother, conveniently placed on a low tree stump not far from where she had entered herself.
"Oh, here they are. ♫" Yanmei uttered, melodic in tone as she and her companions approached Junjie and his group. While she went to engage her brother, her digimon were already swarming his; generally, their teams were friendly amongst one another... except for Suyin, who (after taking notice of how relaxed Junjie's Palmon appeared, beneath so much shade) was already attempting to bully Lian away from her comfortable place at the base of a neighboring tree. She did this brutally, already bearing claws and threatening to inflict poison damage on the creature. Though, this was out of Yanmei's line of sight; therefore, she couldn't be reprimanded for not taming her DoKunemon, right?
Meanwhile, Lihua had been in a seated position around her tamer's feet (though she shouldn't have been mistaken as being unaware, as she was still quite alert), and Wei rested his pudgy body on Yanmei's right shoulder.

| Hearing the melodic sing-song voice of no one but his sister, Junjie stood up to face her, eyeing her. " You're late - as usual." huffed the blond, folding his arms across his chest as he stood in front of her. He managed to tower over his sister by a few inches and often used it to his advantage - assuming she wasn't wearing heels. After a pregnant pause ensued, Junjie would continue talking. " Doesn't matter much though. No swamp exploring because I caught word on the BBS that it's full of mud and nearly impossible to walk through and that Champion and Ultimate level Digimon prey on new players. Best to avoid for now.." said Junjie, idly placing his hands into his pockets. Talking to his sister, he was oblivious to Suyin's predatory nature coming out and attempting to bully Lian. Lian, who did not notice Suyin, had turned around and immediately began to glance around nervously. Her owner was a good meter away; Bao and Jian weren't paying attention to her. Her eyes would turn wide and became glassy in fear, gulping as she saw the terrible claws that the DoKunemon showcased. Lian, being an X-Antibody Digimon, however managed to tower over Suyin by a few inches; naturally, she was a lot larger than most Palmon. It wasn't until Lian was cowering in fear did Bao turn around and begin to bark rather loudly. Signaling Junjie, the male pivoted on his back heel and turned in the general direction of Suyin and Lian. " Enough, Suyin! Leave Lian alone." ordered Junjie. Although he was not Suyin's Tamer, his close relationship with Yanmei allowed him some moderate control over her Digimon -- no different to how an uncle would talk to their niece. Lian dashed towards Junjie's direction and clung onto the hem of his shorts. Patting the Palmon (X) on the top of her head, he shuffled around, knowing that Yanmei would deal with Suyin. " Since the game is new and all, there aren't many maps of areas. I figured we'd have to explore the Amazon ourselves. Oh and I didn't bring an umbrella, so don't cry if your hair gets wet and frizzy - it rains a lot here." said Junjie, wanting to make sure he warned his sister of basically anything that could potentially happen. Normally he was a light speaker, preferring the quietness of his thoughts - but he knew that his sister's wrath was nothing to toy with and anything unpredictable could set her off. Keeping that in the back of his mind, he began to walk forward, his pace being quick to cover ground fast, but slow enough for Yanmei and her trio to keep in pace. The sound of the waterfall crashing onto rocks was a melodic, buzzing noise in the background that despite their length away from it, still radiated throughout the rain forest. As they walked on the edge of the forest, they could see the river part between the land; on their right side there was ground that eventually became a small shoreline and then the river, which rapidly and swiftly slipped downstream, suggesting that it wouldn't be a fun swim. Bao alerts Junjie to Suyin's bullying and he reprimands her. Lian is close by him as they walk. To his right, they can see the shoreline and then the fast river. yanmei lin |

| Naturally, her brother took on the role as "disappointed old man," something characteristic to his personality. With folded arms and a condescending tone, he immediately reprimanded Yanmei for not being punctual. She only responded with a nervous sort of chuckle; though, she didn't seem to honestly care more than a little bit. Junjie didn't seem to either, so it became apparent that this sort of interaction was more routine, rather than fully realized emotions of Junjie's "anger" versus Yanmei's slight irresponsibility. Immediately the conversation segued into why they were in the amazon and not at some kind of swamp; her brother's explanation more than adequately satisfying, even Yanmei wasn't fool enough to toy around with packs of both Champion and Ultimate level Digimon. Not having much to initially say in response to Junjie, her general response aligned alongside a "Oh yeah, good point..." while her Suyin was still attempting to remove Lian from the spot she was in. The weakness that immediately showed in the Palmon's eyes might have been pleasing to Yanmei's DoKunemon, if she didn't instead maintain a deathly serious disposition nearly one hundred percent of the time. The height difference between the two of them would not have made the DoKunemon falter for a moment; she would just as easily target larger creatures on any day. Junjie's Labramon soon caught on, however, and immediately alerted the tamers to what was going on. While Junjie was upset by the situation (naturally), Yanmei felt the urge to feel a bit proud at Suyin's fearlessness and her intent on following up on her impulses. She knew that it wasn't exactly prudent for the DoKunemon to start picking on her brother's Digimon, but better his than for it to be one of her own, right? She would let the larva know later that it wasn't helpful for their group to create bad blood with the Digimon that belonged to her brother later, though. Junjie's outburst attracted Suyin's attention for a moment, though she was ultimately left not bothered as Lian fled from the base of the tree and left the space open for Suyin to occupy -- and this was, in fact, what the girl had wanted from the beginning. After this moment, conversation between the twins resumed -- and Yanmei, unlike Suyin, now had reason to become very bothered. "Note to self: Junjie is no longer someone to count on for the prevention of bad hair days..." Yanmei immediately said to herself, mainly comically though she had now become very worried about looking like a hot mess in this expansive, forested region. Junjie made it clear that there was a high chance of their group being rained on, and now the female blonde could only hope that they would not run into too many other players, lest she become ill from embarrassment. With this much settled, Yanmei allowed Junjie to take the lead, as she struggled to combat the dark cloud beginning to form over her head. Suyin is not bothered by Junjie, but Yanmei definitely is as she begins to worry for the safety of her hair. JUNJIE LINword count: #000497 |
