When asked to beta test some video game, Eve thought she knew what was up. Drab, grey rooms, awkward-looking geeks hovering over her to monitor every bit of progress, blinding screens that would have made her crave the sunlight. What she didn't expect was to be looking at a massive waterfall in a lush jungle with a horde of adorable creatures by her side. If this was what video games were going to be like in the future, maybe she could get used to this!
Oh, technically there were holding areas for all of the testers. But those cities were so boooring. Why would she waste any time there when she could be chilling out in her treehouse home, or prancing around in this gorgeous wilderness? While it would probably drive the test admins crazy, she figured it would be a cold day in H-E-double hockeysticks before she decided to report back there. Besides, she had so much more important things on her mind right now.
The waterfall towering in front of her, for one. As soon as she saw it, the manic glint in Eve's eye betrayed her thoughts: the Streaming Falls would be conquered before she left today.
The pink bud at the side was the first to catch onto her intent, letting out a withered sigh as he looked up at her. "Mistress Eve, I doubt this would be such a good idea," the Lalaman offered, his three facial holes concealing whether his interjection was sarcastic or earnest. "Even if you survived the landing, it would take at least an entire week to climb. Would such a risk even be worth it?"
As Eve began to answer, she was cut off by a much younger, more relaxed voice. "Come on, you old gasbag," answered a Kunemon, who rose from her position napping on Eve's shoulders. Apparently the little firebrand had no problem wearing a bug like a feather boa. "Let the kid dream. And if she falls its not like there's a problem. Water's deep enough, Arlon: she'll be fine!"
Arlon sighed, a little annoyed by his teammate egging on their tamer. "Your opinion is . . . appreciated, Phosphora," he offered. "Cragalanche? What do you think?"
A loud snore revealed where the Armadillomon was: sleeping right where the sun hit the water's edge. "Typical," Phosphora remarked, letting out a derisive snort. Arlon merely shook his head, letting out a good natured chuckle: both parties knew Cragalanche's sleeping habits by heart, and figured letting him lie would be easier for everyone involved. Old Crag slept like a rock.
Eve thought on the advice of her companions for a while, before slipping Phosphora off of her shoulders and taking off her shoes. "I might as well give it a shot," she decided, a grin spreading across her face as she accepted the challenge. "Besides, I want to see how these developers like it when they see someone jumping off of their oh-so-unscalable waterfall!" Arlon sighed and Phosphora eagerly watched: in the short time they knew Eve for, they already knew she was absolutely unshakable when she got an idea in her head. She went to a rocky outcropping on the side of the waterfall, ready to begin the climb of a lifetime.
Only seconds later she popped her head up from the pond, hitting the side of her head to get water out of her ideas. "You were right. Bad idea," she muttered, looking somewhat apologetically at Arlon. It turned out trying to scramble up slippery rocks as if they were a climbing wall wasn't too great of an idea. Who knew?

So this is what his father had for a job. It was quite eye-catching and unexpected, everything seemed so real and felt real, even smelled real. He could catch the smell of each of the creatures by his side, and so he could also catch the smell of the koala-like creature sleeping in his bag, it was somewhat a faint dark belladonna odor. The floral smell of Lilly, the Palmon, all coming from her flower, the magical smell of some type of water coming from the antennae of Luna. It was all so awesome and well-rendered.
But the most magic moment happened when each of the eggs, all differently colored, shattered and the little digital creatures were born. They were smaller at that moment and had different names he recalled. But they are still as cute as before, well, Ralph was a little creepier now but he still had some charming looks…in a dark and rather disturbing way of seeing things.
The pinkette was not sure where he was heading. He was not even sure if he had been walking on circles. He went by what Palmon was saying about the moss always pointing to a certain direction so he was following her in a way. Well, she had argued that Moss generally grows on the North side of trees because it is damper from facing away from the sun and even when that was not always true it was better than simply walk blindly through all of the forest.
“I-Is that a waterfall?” He heard the little creature that had her claws attached to his legs through all of the road speak. Luna was just shy as one can get. She had this issues with herself that Noah hadn’t figured out yet.
“It does looks like one! ~” Lilly shouted raising both of her ha-….leafs? happily. She had this happy-go-lucky feeling around herself. She was pleasant and nice to have around.
And then Ralph stuck his head out and sleepy he said “Can you all just shut up for a while please?” he said, rolling his eyes in a sassy way and going back to sleep.
“This is going to be a long day.” Noah said as he was closer to the waterfall. And a girl fell from the waterfall. Well from the rocks she was using as a ladder to climb.
“Are you alright?” The kid said nearing the edge of the pond and placing his bag down. Ralph simply opened his eyes and on all fours moved to the side of the bag and used it as a pillow to continue sleeping. He had the weirdest Digimon team or so he was thinking.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Resume:He and his team reached the waterfall. Noah asks how is Eve after she fell. This post sucks. I need a template.

As Eve blinked a few times to get the water out of her eyes, she noticed a figure approaching closer and closer. At first she figured it was just one of the creatures the developers seemed to love programming into this gameworld, but then it got closer and she began to make out its shape: very human. Could it really have been another one? They were told time and time again to go explore all they wanted, but she hadn't seen too many people since she left the city in the sky. Even when they did explore, they generally seemed to be heading for greener, easier to handle pastures. While this waterfall retreat was gorgeous, cutting through the jungle to get there wasn't the easiest of tasks.
The figure became more clear as he approached: a boy, obviously, with pink hair of all things. He had to be another beta tester: the admins were admittedly very ambitious, but programming in their own humans seemed to be a line even they wouldn't cross. "Just fine, thanks," Eve replied, flashing a grin as she swam a bit closer.
Her team paid notice to the new arrivals as well, Cragalanche being the least phased. The husky Armadillomon turned, looking slightly peeved by all the noise but still nodding in acknowledgement as they approached. Phosphora and Arlon were more friendly, the former calmly waving a stubby foot and the latter bowing slightly. Soon the pink bud took up his role as de-facto welcome wagon, his old voice contrasting greatly with his tiny body.
"Pleasure to make your acquaintance, young master. You may call me Arlon, and my colleagues here are Mistress Phosphora and Master Cragalanche."
"Hey!"
"As for the human, you may call he-"
"Aw, no need to be so formal, Arlon!" Eve interrupted, laughing a little. She was too curious about the new arrivals to be wrapped up in stuffiness and long introductions, especially with perfect strangers. "Name's Eve. Nice to meet you!"
The girl stopped treading water, instead shifting to a lazy backstroke as she began to swim across the surface of the pond. "Nice hair, by the way," she offered, half joking yet half earnest. While pink was a rare and kind of silly color for hair, it was also one of Eve's favorites.

Yep, the girl seemed real; unknowingly to him he was thinking the exact same thing as the girl before him. The developers would not simply create other humans, well, not at the start of the beta test at-least. This was the first other human he had encounter and, being honest, he was quite happy. His only interaction had been with the weird creatures he had for a team, which, wasn’t that bad considered how nice they had been to him, acting like he was their older brother …except Ralph, who, while was quite comfortable with cuddling his leg, head or arm, wasn’t that keen to have many other friends or hold a conversation. He was way too sassy, kind of like his tamer, eh?
The girl swam closer and assured that she was fine. He simply nodded in acknowledgement and smiled at her. A sudden warm smile, he was happy to see more human-life near. He had been thinking he was the only one there for a while.
The Digimon team of the girl quickly moved near him. Except for the yellow armadillo-like creature. She had a long but still little worm, almost caterpillar looking, creature and a pink flying flower or plant thing; all of her Digimon, including the insect were rather cute he had to admit. The pink flower, looking rather feminine and girly until it spoke. Wow, it had a deeper voice than his own. She was not a she but rather a he, and a very refined and sir-like one.
Just before Noah could speak the girl interrupted the Digimon’s introductions and said she was called Eve. She then proceeded to compliment his hair. He laughed a bit at the commentary and touched some strands of his hair.
“Oh my God…Thanks … Well, Pink is nice , I guess.” He said giggling a bit again. Covering his mouth with his hand. “My name is Noah by the way. Nice to meet you too Eve! You too Arlon and Mistress Ph- … I mean, Phosphora and you too Cragalanche.”
“My name is Lilly, nice to meet you all too!” The Palmon said, she had a flower in her hand, in seemed she had collected it somewhere in the forest while they were speaking. She then pointed at Arlon. “Awww, is cute how you fly with your cute little leafs!“she said linking her long leafy hands in an “oh-that’s-so-cute” position and titling her head to the side.
“M-My name is…” the little shy Luna started. She moved a bit forward getting out of her hiding spot behind Noah’s leg. Her big puppy-like eyes sticking out of the darkness. Suddenly Ralph appeared moving Noah’s bag alongside him. His sleepy eyes looking around and locking on Eve and her Digimon.
“My name’s Ralph…good to meet y’all...I guess.” He said , yawning his way through the sentence and dropping himself on the floor “this place here is better for a nap.” He said “even when you are all being noisy as hell.” He then fell asleep.
“I’m sorry he is kinda moody.” Noah explained smiling and scratching the back of his head. He then looked back at Luna who had been cut off mid-sentence by Ralph. She seemed kind of sad. She hid again in the back of his leg.
“This little girl here is Luna, she is kind of shy.”He said receiving a little yelp from the Digimon.

Eve couldn't help but giggle about how silly the boy was being. He seemed genuinely happy about the compliment, something that was really refreshing to see in a world where people hid away so often.
It was a big change from all the feigned happiness at home, at least.
"Well, glad to meet you four!" Eve cheered, hopping out of the pond and sitting down in the sunlight. As refreshing as the water was, she needed to start drying off soon. Cragalanche lazily opened an eye upon her arrival, before stretching out and slowly shuddering onto his feet. It seemed even when he was awake he was a 'mon of few words, though, because upon getting off of his rear he did little more than nod placidly at the group.
Lily, on the other hand, was about to learn something important about Arlon: he was bad at taking compliments. The dot-eyed flower bud looked down at the ground shyly, responding "Many thanks, Madam Lily." After a bit of quiet he offered "Your flower is nice too." He usually prided himself on remaining somewhat detached and composed in any situation, but compliments always had a way of ruffling his non-existent feathers. How strange.
Phosphora grinned at Luna, her lightning bolt eyespots looking oddly relaxed and friendly. "Aw, no need to be shy," she said. "Nobody here bites. Too hard." A laugh followed that statement, Arlon sighing at his teammate's sense of humor.
"Knock it off, Phos," Eve interjected. "You'll scare the poor girl." While she thought Phosphora was pretty funny most of the time, she also thought the caterpillar needed a sense of when joking around was appropriate. Maybe once the caterpillar matured a bit more she'd start learning better.
"So what brings you four down here, anyway?" she asked, wondering if other beta testers have started escaping from those stuffy sky cities or not.
