Another day of exploring within the Digital World had taken up her schedule for today. She hadn't spent much time in this part of the game when she thought back to it, her time was mostly spent in Kurai City or the Coliseum then going about the dangerous bottom world below the floating cities. It wasn't as though she was scared from the thousands of rumors of strong and deadly Digimon and environments that flood the BBS on a daily bases nor did she not find the areas to be interesting, it just... happened like that. Possibly it was because of her competitive streak fueled on by her Digimons rather aggressive and battle loving personalities. Either way she hadn't thought much of it through her times here nor did she want to change it but of course as a “Beta Tester” she figured she'd have to visit the actual Digital World some times in order to fulfill her duty and title. She had visited a place known as the Thriller Ruins before, a hot and annoying place by her standard. The sand itself was a pain in the ass for her – of course the reason being could have come from her horrible clothing choice – and adding the heat and wind to the mix hadn't left such a great impression on her. She had met someone nice there though, someone she hoped to see again sometime soon but overall and minus the random encounter with her newly made friend the ruins were a place she'd happily visit much later on unless need be. Today she had chosen a place called Access Glacier. Maybe she had horrible luck with choosing places at random or possibly it was karma coming back to bite her in the ass for not fully paying much attention to the descriptions of the areas given but it seemed whatever gods of choice or otherwise didn't favor Kate very much. The temperature around her plummeted fast, her body stiffening as she entered the snow and ice covered location she had choose. She managed to take a step, her shallow breathing visible and covering her vision before fading away. It was better then the wind, sand, and heat but not by much; she was happy to have worn her usual attire plus a scarf she had figured prior to be that helpful bit of warmth. She could still feel the cold as she walked along the snow, pulling her feel from bits of snow too deep for her legs as she went but it wasn't too bad. As she went her sense of direction became blurred with the white of the snow, left looked right and right looked left, she had forgotten if she had turned moments before becoming unsure if she was walking farther into the Narina or back the way she arrived. A small whimper escaped her cold lips, small plumes of her breath billowing around her face as she tried to piece together her mental map. “ I... I'm not sure.” she muttered, her eyes going down to the three Digimon around her. Nymeria and Valar kept close to their Tamers legs, both looking in opposite directions of one another as they tried to evaluate the dilemma themselves. Summer on the other hand had ventured a short ways away, swishing the snow with her claws and tail in what Kate could only assume to be a playful manner. A small smile perked up on her face as she watched the Gabumon X enjoy herself, showing more positive emotion then ever before. It was actually rather funny though she didn't dare laugh or bring the attention of her other Digimon on her; surely if she did Summer would stop, thus causing her fun to be ruined. “ We don't need to worry too much about it... We'll find out way back eventually, probably won't take us long to remember if we just relax.” notes. deathdeathdeath digimon partners. gabumon x, psychemon, blackgabumon word count. 0658 summery. choosing to visit the digital world kate decides to go to access glacier, a frozen wasteland of nothing but subzero temperature and snow. finding herself lost and going around in circles kate decides to not worry so much on finding direction after seeing her gabumon x (summer) enjoying herself more then she ever has outside of battle.

The Digital World was full of mystery and adventure, not knowing where to go next was part of the fun of it all. The tamer had met with someone earlier in the week and learned about some other places, but he decided that it would be for the best to check out some places he never heard of yet and so the tamer decided to travel with his group to lands unknown. That was when they reached it, the giant icy wasteland that brought a cold chill to the bones and made Koa flip his hood up, the bunny ears flowing slightly. His blue eyes scanned the area for initial signs of life, but came up with nothing. Was this a place where tamer's went to often? He started to think that that was unlikely, but it provided so some sense of adventure. The atmosphere around this area was pretty desolate and cold, something the tamer did not really expect from the Digital World. Regardless, he and his digimon left traces of their footprints in the snow as they traversed through the terrain. The snowfall itself was very light, Koa only felt a few flakes a moment as he walked. As he exhaled, the young man took delight in the fact that his breath was visible for a quick moment, before hearing his digital partners begin to their conversation with him. When in a place such as this, they provided for a light-hearted mood to try to compete with their atmosphere. "Its so coooooooooold" Shika said in a whiny voice to his partners. Kuro, the Strabimon that walked with a straight face spoke out to the Neemon.
"Quit you're whining, its not like you can't handle it" the dark furred beast man digimon said to the yellowish digimon. Koa gave the Strabimon on a look that told him to stop trying to bully the other. Their eyes met, but then Kuro looked away and huffed "I'm just sayin..." the digital creature muttered to himself. Then there was Katon, the one digmon that seemed to be ignoring the fact that it was cold in the area. When Shika had complained and Kuro had spoken, the Guilmon turned his head to the side at them "I don't know why you're complainin', its not that bad out here" the digimon spoke and ran straight ahead, and ended up catching onto a bit of the ice and thus, slipping and falling.
This all happened a few meters in front of the group and Koa just shook his head. The group all laughed at the reptile's mishap, Shika holding his sides as he let out an uncontrollable laugh. However, as he walked over to the Guilmon, he noticed a tamer with two digimon at her legs. The young man inquired why the person was out here in the first place, but he was in no position to talk. Still, it would be nice to converse with someone here, then he would log out of the game and call it a day. The man looked at his white and blue digivice for a moment to look through some things, but then put it away as he started to walk over to the person with his digimon. The Guilmon got up and followed, shaking its body to rid itself of the snow.
Koa walked up to what he now suspected was a young lady around his age that had come to Access Glacier as well. He also notice there was another digimon playing in the snow, so he assumed it be her third digital partner. His bunny hood was still up, but he popped out his face enough some that it was visible. Koa came in from her right side, making himself as visible as possible from the angle in order to not alarm her. But could she be lost or something of the sort? That was entirely possible, now that the male tamer thought about. So that is what he intended to inquire. "Excuse me, the name's Koa, you wouldn't happen to be lost, would you?" he asked her with a small smile on his face. Normally he would have taken his hood off as a formality, but he felt that it was too cold for that.
Word Count: 711 Summary: Came to these glacier tryna be an adventure guy, its cold. Katon slipped on the snow, and they all noticed another tamer and wanted to say "Why the fuck are you here?" but ended up asking if she was lost instead.

Losing my Light He wasn't a fan.
He'd slid his hands into his pockets long ago as to stop his hands from hardening in the icy weather. For once in his life he actually had the goggles that usually rested on his forehead over his eyes to shield them from the never ending snow flurries. Indeed Kei had made his way out to one of the most vicious areas in the entire damned digital world, if not the most vicious, the icy highlands otherwise known the access glacier.
He adjusted one of the straps to his goggle quickly before sliding his hand back into his pocket once more. Why the hell had he come here? He'd told himself he'd check out every area in the digital world, and there were rumors that better treasure was found in places that were more risky. So he and the team of three behind him had come to the place of snowfall. Where to start searching for this supposed treasure he had no idea as only fields of white surrounded him on all sides. He didn't know where to go or even which direction he was headed in. He was still warm and his digimon seemed pretty well off currently, but he didn't know how long he or his digimon would be able to last. Hell, he didn't know if the climate could or would even affect them. They seemed to feel cold, but if it actually hindered them in battle he had no idea.
He'd asked Aeon, the most knowledgeable about this world and their bodies, but the Black dinosaur digimon had no earthly idea how their bodies worked in the slightest much to his tamer's dismay. That was the third reason he'd come out here, to see the adverse effects of the weather on the digimon themselves. He didn't tell his team that and he had no intention of letting them suffer so if the request was made he would get the three of them out of the area immediately.
He looked around, the only thing other than pure white where some mountains in the distance. He quickly decided that would be his marker and thus decided to head in that direction. At least if he followed this he'd have a goal or mini goal of sorts.
After about twenty minutes or so of walking through the glacial place in the distance he could see a group of sorts. After closer inspection he moved his hair back a bit, something he did when he was stressed. It was that kid again, the one he'd met on multiple occasions. At this point was it fate the two ended up together? Did some kind of digital god have it so they were fated to fight against or with each other?
He was being overdramatic.
Truthfully Kei didn't really dislike the kid, he was just another player. He had some semblance of skill and they'd fought with and against each other on occasion. He closed his eyes for a moment, deciding on what exactly to do until finally he spoke up. "Come on, we're going." Between him and the group was a hill of not so surprisingly ice and snow, and a rather tall one at that. They didn't have a sled so he'd have to wing it. He placed his boot at the tip of the hill, "Follow me." He pushed himself off with his other foot and keeping his center relatively close to the ground as he began to glide down the hill pretty easily. His digimon followed suit although not as skillfully but they made it down. Living in the north did have a plus or two. After all, he could deal with situations like this with ease.
After making it to the bottom of the hill he finally got a clear look at the kid he'd seen so many times before this and a face he'd never seen before. Before saying anything he observed their digimon, specifically the three of the girl. They, for the most part seemed to be enjoying the weather, while Koa's didn't. He made note of it before speaking up.
"We need to stop meeting like this." A tint of sarcasm could be heard as he slid his goggles up so he could look the two eye to eye for a moment. He'd nod at Koa before turning to the other ditzy looking girl slightly. "Sorry to intrude, you two seem to be having a moment. I didn't think relationships would start so soon on the game, and you definitely didn't seem like one to have an eye for romance." He'd slide his goggles back down not caring too much. He wanted some information and instead of asking directly. This was how he expected to get it, in other words he was just probing.

She brought her hands to her mouth, breathing onto her cold skin to warm them up as the cloud of her exhaled air flowed away around her face. The sight reminded her of home during winter; she used to love the snow as much as the pups they raised. She'd mess around with them when they were at a young enough age to not harm her during rough housing as well as mess with her brothers every chance she got. Fond memories flooded her mind, clouding her eyes as she stared at her Digimon with a distant mind. She wasn't fully here, too involved with the little play going on behind her eyes, but as Nymeria and Valar nudged at the black dress she wore the girl snapped out of it. Shaking her head in a brief second she blinked twice, staring at her Digimon normally and taking in what they were alerting her to. She glanced away, catching Summer staring in the same direction of the others before she followed down the line. Her green eyes caught a boy, possibly around her age though she was never very good with guessing ages. A lot of boys younger then her seemed older due to height while girls were the reverse. Tilting her head to the side as the males features became more apparent in the white canvas the area provided a smile crossed her lips at his wardrobe. The jacket he was wearing had bunny ears, long ones at that; it was a little odd but in a good way. An oddity in the norm.. or something. Glancing away from the boy with an embarrassed blush warming her cheeks should couldn't help but wonder if it was obvious she had gotten herself lost. It wasn't her fault really, everything here looked the same for the most part; it was hard to travel in the right direction when all around you is died in white and your tracks get covered. “H-Hey!” she said, bringing herself to look at the boy once again, a finger scratching her cheek slightly as she smiled. “ Y-Yeah... is it that obvious?” Glancing down at her Digimon the two by her legs stared at the pack of three following the boy, curious and alert at the strangers though keeping up their usual silence. Summer had stopped looking, bringing her attention back to the snow she found utterly delightful. It was still an odd sight for Kate to see but a good one non the less; her Digimon had always been lacking emotion when in public so to see such a thing now still made her smile. “ Oh! My name's Kate! It's nice to meet you! Are you... I doubt you're lost too, huh.” Laughing softly her amused expression was just her way to hide her embarrassment for being lost in the first place and having it be so obvious that a stranger could pick up on it. Not paying mind to her surroundings other than the rabbit jacket boy in front of her, mostly due to her mind believing nothing – other then themselves – were out in this wonderland of snow, Nymeria was the one to alert her of something. “ Kate, there's another person...” the soft voice brought her attention down, staring at where the Psychemon pointed before staring in that direction. A small jolt of surprise caught her as she saw the second random stranger approach, already close and speaking up though his words seemed mostly directed to the rabbit jacket boy that had showed first. Blinking up at other boy then to Koa Kate kept quite only to tilt her head slightly before a blush brushed away at her facial features and obscuring her curiosity and confusion. “ W-We're not having a moment! Or anything like that!” Kate said, her words coming out a bit flustered at first before she quieted down to a small mumble. “ I don't even know him. Or... well... I know his name but that's it.” Huffing a bit Kate crossed her arms, looking between the two boys that had showed up out of no where. “ You two seem to know each other though. I could ask the same “relationship” question. It's not uncommon for two lovers to play the same game as each other.” notes. thank you stealth for the post and the adventure it took to obtain it. digimon partners. gabumon x, psychemon, blackgabumon word count. 0722 summery. finding herself a little embaressed by the fact that the rabbit hood boy could tell - or at least assume - she was lost kate greets him non the less and answers with a yes, coming to the slight assumption that he's not lost like her. nymeria alerts her of the other boy, confused by the second random encounter before getting flustered by what he says.

The wind blew more as the girl began to talk; her words were slightly muffled by the weather, but nothing too bad. She introduced herself as Kate, she seemed to be around his age and for what it was worth, she did look somewhat appealing. She expressed that she was in fact lost in this tundra area of the Digital World. Koa was amazed at how cold it was here, but he did not want to stress it too much because it still felt nice. It reminded him of Christmas time in Rhode Island, where blankets of snow would cover the entire area and took up all of one’s vision. Still, the male tamer could understand how one could get lost in this all because the Digital World did not have a very clear mapping of the place.
Kuro bared his fangs at the Gabumon trio that looked at them funny, and as did Katon, but Koa’s head met the head of the Guilmon as usual. “Aw, why does Kuro get a free pass?!” Katon whined to his tamer partner. Shika warmed his heart with a hearty laugher at the Guilmon’s very common misfortune. “No explanation needed” Koa said and gave a glare to the stubborn digital creature. The male tamer returned his attention to the young lady with the dark hair and pack of digital wolf creatures. As a frosty breath became visible with his exhale, Koa started to speak “Don’t worry, I’ll do what I can to help you out of here” he said with a wink and a smile in order to reassure young Kate that she’d be fine. However, the wind picked up and a familiar voice was carried into the eardrums of the two tamers and their digimon.
Koa’s blue eyes fell upon a familiar face that made him smile and wave to the one he could have considered to be his rival. He enjoyed this human being’s odd company because he was pretty different from others he knew back at home. He asked about the relationship forming between Koa and Kate, but knowing that he was joking, the young man started laughing. “You mad?” Koa said with a devilish smirk before the female tamer ruined the little fun he planned on having with Stealth. That was no problem because it does not really matter to him, it was all for the fun of it. “Wow Kate, I’m hurt, I thought we could have had something here” he teased with a smile after she mentioned the fact that he and Stealth seemed to know each other. Well, that happened to just be based on the fact that they were put into situations together with others.
“I would say we are friends but I don’t think Stealth over here would appreciate that” Koa said in order to get a little rise out of the male tamer that was with them. Katon looked at Aeon, Xia, and Ven and gave them a simple nod, acknowledging the familiar digimon. “Hey guys” Shika said with a wave to the group that the male tamer had with him. “So, what brings you out here Stealth?” Koa inquired for what reason did the other had to be out here. Perhaps he simply wished to travel the Digital World more and wanted to learn more about the different landscapes that were available to them in this virtual reality game. Koa noticed the snow started to fall a little more, it was still manageable but he felt like it could get worse.
Koa turned his head over his shoulder to set his blue eyes on Kate “He may seem cold, but you’ll get used to it. He’s a good guy though, mostly” the guy flashed a smile, being critical of his friend but letting Kate know that as long as she didn’t cross him, she would be fine. Koa started to think about things as far as getting to a different terrain or seeking shelter. This place should have some igloo check points or something, right? Koa figured that would or should be a feature in a game that had this glacier fields area like this. But who was to say for sure if it did? Koa was not the game’s designer so he could not complain if there wasn’t. The snow that fell was still pretty to the bunny hooded fellow, hopefully it would stay like this for a bit longer. Words: 754 Summary: Oh hey Stealth
