| Sylver was in a good mood: He wandered along, humming a tune, twirling a necklace round his fingers merrily. Not his necklace, obviously. It'd belonged to some girl - He had no idea who she had been, but she'd been so absorbed by fiddling with her Digivice that he he couldn't resist slipping the beautiful, glittering piece of jewellery from around her neck as he passed. She'd noticed, of course, but only after he had gone. Not too far, but he was down an alley before she looked. He'd heard her cry, though - Delightfully anguished. But for what? A digital copy of an expensive necklace? She still had it in the real world, so what was the problem? He guessed it must be simply the thought of being robbed. In any case, it made him happy, even if his digimon were giving him that look again. They all did it whenever he stole something, or upset somebody, and for the life of him, he couldn't understand why - He'd been doing this sort of thing ever since he'd gotten into the game - Why were they still so surprised? And, even worse, why did it make him feel... Well, he wasn't sure how he felt, if he was honest. Regretful, perhaps? But that confused Sylver - He'd done this sort of thing before - In the real world, even, and he hadn't felt like this. But then again, he'd always been on his own then. That was the most likely explanation, but in any case, even it was the wrong one, Sylver decided that he wouldn't give it a thought. And besides, it wasn't as if he could go and give it back... As their tamer thought about this, his digimon were talking together - Quietly, so Sylver wouldn't take notice. Hel, the Biyomon, opened: "He... He isn't a very good person, is he?" she looked away at this point, feeling like an awful, awful digimon - It was her job to stand by Sylver, no matter what, but he just made it so hard. "What he does to other humans isn't very good," Slade, the Hyokomon assented. He agreed with Hel on this matter - What Sylver did, and continued to do was wrong, but it was their purpose as his digimon to support him, "But I don't think it's fair to write him off completely: I'm sure he'll change, someday." "As long as he makes us strong, does it really matter what he does?" This was Sven, the Hawkmon. Usually, Sven played around, and made his tamer very angry, simply because he thought it was a fun game, (and, perhaps, the difference between him and his tamer were not that great) but it wasn't as if he hated Sylver, although he did think that he was unnecessarily rough sometimes, but what he wanted, more than anything, was to become powerful, and to prove that he could protect his teammates, and, obviously, safeguard his tamer, and for that, he was willing to overlook Sylver's... Flaws. "But... But he'll get into real trouble someday..." Hel replied, in her quiet, inoffensive voice. "That's why we need to be super strong! So he doesn't get hurt when that day comes!" The Hawkmon folded his wings as he walked, and gave Hel a fierce look, that she rather shrank away from. Slade did not, however: "No, what we need to do is to make him see the error of his ways!" "Shut up, you lot!" The sneer on Sylver's face was barely disguised - In his opinion, his digimon should just be quiet and do what he wanted them to do, "I think there's someone coming," He stopped in his quick pace, and waited for his dawdling data-creatures to catch up. "Sven, go and see who it is. If it's that girl, we need to get out of here quickly." The Hawkmon muttered something, likely rude, under his breath, but engaged his 'Hawk eyes' ability. His blue eyes glowed green for a second or two, and he was able, for just a moment, to see for a very, very long way - He didn't know how far, exactly, but he simply settled on 'a really freakin' long way'. TAGS: Open! WORD COUNT: 709 NOTES: Sylver has stolen a necklace from a random tamer, and his digimon discuss this. Sven (Hawkmon) doesn't care, but Hel (Biyomon) and Slade (Hyokomon) do. Sylver thinks he hears somebody coming, and gets Sven to use his 'Hawk eyes' ability to have a look. |
