Today were like all days, nothing special. Gordon hadn't really thought of doing anything that could be exciting. His Digimon were making some pretty good advances in their training so he felt that there was no need for him to push them into a two versus one fight once again, like he had done with Gizamon. Gizamon were improving pretty nicely, though he were still quite weak compared to the other, he’d started to use his brains more than his brawn and that was a good thing. Gordon was inside the 8GB training farm, he’d crawled onto one of the metallic climbing frames that were placed within the farm’s playground area. It was actually kind of fun these things, and he missed them sort of. Gordon sat upon the highest part of this climbing frame and looked over towards the training log. Gizamon were still training, though he was simply doing so by using attack after attack upon the log. Gordon presumed Gizamon was attempting to increase the strength and lower the charging time of the attacks, a noteworthy decision though a slightly bit futile one. Gizamon was not a speedy time, he had to realize that at some point, Gordon feared what would happen when Gizamon would realize that because of what he was, he would never be able to become as strong, or as fast as other Digimon. But Gizamon were not the Digimon that he was going to focus on right now. Turning his head to the right he could see Keramon and Crabmon, they were just about to spar it seemed. This should be interesting… Gordon thought as he looked over at the two Digimon. One was a close range attack type and the other a long ranged attack type, how would they fare against each other especially since they knew all of each other’s tricks. It would take more brains than brawn to win this match, so his bet would definitely be on Keramon right now, but who was he to say that Crabmon didn't have a few brain cells under his shell? Crabmon had crossed both his claws and they were both glowing. He knew what that stance meant. Crabmon was going to charge Keramon head on, a good idea if Keramon were someone who didn't know his tricks in and out; maybe that was what Crabmon was hoping for? Gordon did not know, he did however know that someone wasn't getting out of that sparring match unhurt. Keramon was taking a stance not usually seen from him, the Dark claw stance; dark evil purple aura had spread over Keramon’s hands forming long sharp claws ready to claw at anything Keramon might set them to. Less than a second after they had been readied both Digimon charged forward like two samurais about to finish an age’s long match. The sound of clashes could be heard over the playground, though Keramon and Crabmon stood pressed against each other, trying to win over the other and push the opponent back. Unfortunately for Keramon it seemed to be him who were being dominated during that match-up, but that came as no surprise to Gordon since Crabmon were physically stronger, there was no reason for Keramon to even attempt to win in a battle of physical strength, for he could not. But then Gordon realized what Keramon was doing, and he had to admit it could be a pretty smart move if done correctly. Keramon was slowly letting Crabmon get the upper hand and pushing him back slightly, until suddenly Keramon made a quick move, he almost jumped to the side so that Crabmon’s momentum and strength would become his weakness as he continued forward. Keramon had quickly spun around and formed two tiny bombs attacks, one in each palm of his hands. The blood red spheres were fired at Crabmon from behind as the Digimon tried to stop himself from continuing onward. The two spheres hit and exploded, sending the Digimon flying a meter or two before Crabmon came crashing down on his shell. I guess Keramon got all of this figured out… Gordon thought with a smile as he saw how Keramon so splendidly were handling things. He was not surprised that Keramon were this adept, Keramon had been quite skillful from day one, even though he hid it quite nicely with his jester facade. But Gordon weren't going to count Crabmon out of the fight just yet. Crabmon had gotten onto his legs and quickly spun around and fired a bullet of water at Keramon, who obviously was taken by surprise at the Digimon’s speed. Keramon was hit right in where his stomach would be where it not for the fact that Keramon didn't have one of those, and instead just had tendril like legs hanging down from his head. It took a second for Keramon to recover from that shot, and by that time Crabmon had already taken position and charged forward with his claws crossed. Gordon was slightly surprised by the speed, but Keramon was not and had already guessed this part of the plan. To avoid the attack Keramon jumped up and formed a red sphere in each of his hands and on his way down again onto Crabmon he made sure to press them forward. Upon impact they exploded downwards on the Crabmon forcing him down into the ground with the impact. Keramon stood upon Crabmon victoriously. In a last effort attack the blade within his right claw began to glow silver white and Crabmon tried to cut Keramon with it. But Keramon jumped away from that attack and therefore got out of its reach. Crabmon lay defeated; he did not have the energy to move on. Keramon smiled and nodded as Crabmon said something that Gordon could not hear. It seemed to him that though they had pretty seriously tried to hurt each other, they were still friends and probably would continue to be so for a long time, he wondered if they Digi-evolved if they still would be the same, and if not, if they still would be friends. Gordon was slightly worried that they would not, but that was a concern for the future, no for the present. [ THE END ] |
