BABY SLING Hunter uses his slingshot to fire random objects from the environment at the enemy. This can be rather... crazy. | KIDDIE GLOVES Hunter gains a boost of strength when removing his gloves, but cannot use his slingshot without them. | COCONUT CRASH Hunter summons a large overbearing coconut. It is usually slung forcefully from his slingshot to hit his foes. | SLINGSHOT SHOOT Hunter shoots himself or his companions forward with his slingshot, either towards a foe or destination. | GO WILD Hunter throws a horrible temper tantrum. Anything in his way is not likely to have a peaceful afternoon. |
JULEP | ARURAUMON | DATA | PLANT |
● Dynamic ● glamorous ● cultured ● Graceful ● charming | NEMESIS IVY GLOOM DUST SHADOW CLAW RAIN OF POLLEN THUNDER CLAW | Vain ● drama King ● Materialistic ● Self absorbed ● prim ● |
NEMESIS IVY Julep's 'claws' are more like vines, to be totally honest. He can make them rapidly grow and form into vines that sport ivy leaves. He uses them like cat-tails or whips to attack. | GLOOM DUST Julep draws the enemy close and fires a large cloud of pollen in their direction. If inhaled, the enemy feels gloomy and generally unhappy. It can effect how they battle. | SHADOW CLAW Julep uses his claws to dig into another digimon's shadow. It inflicts damage and can hold that digimon in place until he removes his claws. It places him very close to the enemy, though. | RAIN OF POLLEN Julep releases a large cloud of pollen into the air. It then travels a short distance before showering the field in poisonous pollen dust. It rapidly damages non-plant enemies over time. | THUNDER CLAW Julep draws in close to an enemy and strikes very quickly with his claws. It can sometimes paralyze an enemy. |
MANTIS | WORMMON | VIRUS | LARVA |
● Gentle ● quiet ● hard working ● humble pie ● careful | Silk Thread Random roll Sticky net worm wheelie Cacoon spin | TIMID ● reclusive ● indecisive ● submissive ● Clumsy ● |
SILK THREAD Mantis shoots silk from her mouth that is incredibly sharp, and rather tensile. It can easily harm enemies who are trying to close a gap between themselves and Mantis. | RANDOM ROLL Mantis curls into a ball and rolls around. We're not really sure what purpose this serves, or what it really accomplishes. It has to do something... right? | STICKY NET Mantis crafts a net of silk threads that can trap an enemy within them. This kind of silk is much stickier and bends more easily than his Silk Thread technique. | WORM WHEELIE Mantis pops a wheelie. She tucks herself into a loop and he barrels dangerously into an enemy. Often a self-damaging move, and not one Mantis uses often. | CACOON SPIN Mantis spins herself a hard caprice that can protect himself from a nasty beating. Often employed in distracting enemies as yet another scheme is readied. |
HISTORY OF KIMIKO Fukui
Kimiko was born to a rather well-off family in Kobe, yet was raised by her grandparents due to her parents busy lives. She was brought up with a clear sense of tradition and ideals that she took from her grandmother, and a sense of always needing to be the best she could be, taken from her grandfather. Of course, being the best in anything can come with a special set of troubles. Throughout her youth Kimiko battled to be top of her class, and tended to get dragged into all sorts of fads that included games involving spinning tops, little monsters, or fanciful ponies. So long as there was winning involved, a sense of being able to beat the rest, Kimiko was up for it.
This earned her friends, and enemies. Not many people can stand a quiet girl who takes every loss and every win to heart, or one who's willing to do unsavory things to insure her success. The weak minded, the favorable, the bloodthirsty, those that need defending, maybe...
Kimiko was always the cunning sort. Arranging for certain things to be in her favor...
Her childhood was relatively normal, and digimon was always a constant in the fading and distracting fads. Her life was normal, that was to say, save all the plotting to over throw others from their thrones... Hers was something of a addiction. A desire to be greater than others, and a desire to see those higher than her fall. Chess, Digimon, Monopoly, Scrabble, anything with a tactical edge and thoughtful willpower.
She was well in her first year of college when the news of CrossWire hit the gaming sites.
Her addiction hit full force. A real living breathing world of challenge and battles? In her most favorite of worlds?
She would do just about anything to get a head start and really for once feel like the queen of the world.
Luck, would have it that no insidious nonsense or backhanded plotting had to take place for Kimiko to be accepted into the Beta. After several attempts at nabbing a spot, Kimiko would find that the programing department of her college was looking for interested parties in the big project, offering a spot in the Beta, and some time off from school, if one submitted a paper explaining the relevance of multiplayer gaming on society, argued it's benefit, and managed to catch the department head's eye.
It was luck, simply luck, (or perhaps the professor had heard... stories about Kimiko Fukui), that the professor selected her paper out of the three hundred applicatants. Not to mention it was a damn good paper. Thus, her spot secured, and her joy overwhelming, Kimiko went about finishing up her first year of college, awaiting for CrossWire to send the good word.
KIMIKO Fukui'S HOME SERVER
« 8888 » Kimiko's idea of home is startlingly abstract, and she has taken quite a lot of time to perfect what she desires. When entering into the server, you'll be plunged into a sea of constellations and galaxies, and allowed to walk within a pocket of space engulfed in brilliant colors and startling sights. Walking deeper into the realm, you can find Kimiko and her digimon in a small spot where the stars retreat and bleed into the fabric of another reality. The stars touch down carefully on various surfaces, the darkness of space clinging at times onto different things. At times this space will be a tiny garden, and at others a small tea room. It tends to change as needed.
