NOTE: Remember that CrossWire Server is only open to "Beta Testers" so your character would have to be one. Now there are many ways this could have happened, they could have applied for it and interviewed for it if they have some sort of education and experience in related fields, or they could have one a raffle or lottery during the promotions of the site, or they could even be rich enough to buy themselves a ticket in...or perhaps they are even related to a CrossWire Server employee. « 1721 » Within a lavish Catholic church, with all of its tapestries and stained glass and the skeleton of dark wooden beams arching along the curved ceiling, the sculptures by Renaissance masters and the smooth, worn wood of the seats, the sun streaming pink and green through the windows. Outside, above them, the church bell sounds. Between the great, ringing chimes, a flock of birds, pigeons most likely, lift off from the church roof and scatter. A great mass of them dissipating and filling the sky until they are suddenly too far apart to seem like a flock anymore. In the aisle on a priceless, beautiful runner tapestry, in the stained-glass light, the thickness of extinguished censers in the air; he lowers slowly to his knees. Bows his head, presses his hands together, and prays through the quiet.
