FIGHTING THE BATTLE OF WHO COULD CARE LESS
| Noboru didn't want to admit it to his digimon, but they were lost. Somehow, he'd had a hard time trying to figure out the map in an effort to explore their surroundings, both him and his Burgermon, Nomi, sitting on the strong back of Speedy, their Dorumon.
Rider, their KuKabuterimon, kept an eye out for things on foot, staying a bit behind them as Speedy was rather fast, even with two people on his back.
Noboru was drenched in sweat, having decided to grab himself a chanteen and the proper clothing for his trip; in nothing but a pair of jeans, a red scarf, a pair of leather shoes and a white t-shirt rather than his usual orange hoodie and jeans combination.
Abrupty, Dorumon stopped in his tracks, making both Nomi and Noboru fall on their asses, covering their clothes in hot sand.
"Speedy, what the hell was that-"
Noboru looked around, noticing something... strange. Stone walls, like the remnants of a building long forgotten, stuck out of the sand, and while Noboru hadn't noticed this before, he knew that wasn't what Speedy was sensing.
"What's going on?" asked Noboru, as Speedy stood there, as if registering what he had found with his acute senses.
"I smell something... another Tamer."
The KoKabuterimon caught up after a few minutes, panting before he could get a word out. "What's-What's going, boss?"
Noboru looke around, cautiously trying to find what Dorumon had smelled out... there was someone around, and he was going to find them.
"We know you're here, come out!"
"We know who's here?" asked Rider, a little irritated at his Tamer for not answering his question.
"Another Player's here, be on the lookout."

PLEASE - JUST - SAVE - ME SO far this day had played out like all the days before it. Earlier the young man had made the foolish decision that hey, maybe it wasn't so bad to wander around in the sand and sweat all over himself. All just for the sake of exploration, of seeing the unseen. He had heard, from one of the more civilized wild digimon, that ruins were in the middle of this god forsaken place, and he had made the conscious choice when he started playing this game that he would do more than sit around in his Tamer Server all day. With every passing day he found new and more exciting ways to regret that decision. Today's was that being hot and coated in a fine layer of sand was not worth the effort he was putting into this. Even as he scowled and cursed the world under his breath, when his eyes finally landed on the signs of the ruins, his heart flopped with joy.
As their Tamer was busy looking for an entrance way that was safe among the dilapidated stone, his Partners were amusing themselves. At least Carrot was. She spun around in circles, giggling at the way her ears flopped and flipped. The Lopmon would let out a fresh shriek of laughter when the world twisted in her vision and she would fall over. Chip was in no mood to deal with her, being much more like his Tamer in temperate than he would ever admit. While the heat did not bother his as bad as it did the others, he still was contented to lay languidly in a patch of shade. The only signs he was awake was when his ears furled back on his head from Carrot's sharp shrieks, his features furrowed in annoyance of being interrupted from his Liollmon Power Snooze. Of the last of the three, Custard was perhaps the most uncomfortable, but he hid it well. He just stood in place, eyeing the landscape, moving jerkily in place with that big grin on his face. It was hard to tell what went though his mind, but Keramon weren't known for being conversationalists. He turned his head slightly, aware of a presence. No one noticed this small action, and he would not flounce about to warn them if they payed him no heed. So he simply stared out on the direction of the presence, a Tamer he thought, and waited to see how this would play out.
"We know you're here, come out!"
Emilio jumped a little higher than he would ever admit when a voice shocked him out of his thoughts. "Mother fuck!" He hissed from between his teeth. He had managed to jostle himself and stub his toe on the black stone. Breathing a deep breath, he thought about the situation. That was either another Player, like him, or some wild digimon wanted trouble or something. Honestly, the young man wasn't sure which he would prefer right now. Everything in that moment seemed to pause as he thought about what to do. Even Carrot had quieted down, stopping her game long enough to pout and blink in confusion. Chip had dragged himself up on all fours, his fur sparking lightly; he was ready for a fight. Custard just stared, his ever present grin seeming to grow broader. But before Emi could bark out any sort of command, Carrot smiled and chortled with laughter, running towards the voice. "I wanna play hide and seek, too!" She called out, rounding the corner where she was so sure the voice had sounded. Panic flared in Emilio's stomach. Without a second thought, he took off after her, determined to catch the Lopmon before she got herself into trouble.
Summary: Emi almost pisses his pants cause someone talked to him, and Carrot wants to play with the disembodied voice. electric has gangnam style

FIGHTING THE BATTLE OF WHO COULD CARE LESS
| "I wanna play hide and seek, too!"
Speedy, as soon as the words were spoken, darted his head toward the source of the sound, a low growl coming from the furry beast, going back into it's baser instincts; the need to hunt, the need to feel the drums of war beat within it's heart. It took everything within itself to not immediately dart toward the source of the sound, teeth drawn and ready to take a chunk of whatever had spoken.
This, of course, wasn't good for Noboru, but he wanted to give whomever... or whatever the threat was... a chance to show whether they were a threat or not. Noboru could tell Speedy was hungry for a fight but, well, if he didn't have to fight whoever it was he was going to meet, he wouldn't.
"Battle plan," said Noboru as he looked over to his other two Digimon; Rider and Nomi, who were looking around, confusedly for anything they could find. "Dorumon and I are going to try and find whatever it is just baited us. You guys stay behind, and try to not be seen. If they're not a threat, then I'll give you the signal for clear. If they are a threat, then I'll give you the signal for attack, got it?"
The two Digimon nodded as Noboru got onto Speedy's back, a low growl still emitting from his mouth.
"Okay, let's ride."
And just like that, the Dorumon and the Tamer sped off toward their closest target, Noboru finding it hard to see within the sandy air of the desert until finally, they stopped, in front of a single digimon; a Lopmon.
The Digimon was cute, of course, and could be seen as completely harmless, but Noburo knew that bing things could come in small packages. The tamer put his arm in front of his Dorumon's face, as to stop him from... whatever instinctual thing he was about to do.
If this thing had a tamer, I'm sure said tamer wouldn't be happy if Dorumon tore their friend to shreds. If Dorumon got beat up, Noburo might get pretty annjoyed as well.
"Are you the one that baited us? Do you have a Tamer or are you a Wild One?"
Slowly, Noburo reached for his digivice and cards, making sure he'd be ready in case things got particularly ugly.
