Chokyoshi Academy, Tamer Area, 3 in the afternoon. The weather, cloudy. The atmosphere, grand. Koa had found solitude on this rooftop, even surrounded by the multiple digital partners that he had befriended. Kuro looked at his tamer and inquired "So, why are we up here today? I was pretty sure you'd be out exploring more of the Digital World by now" the Strabimon's arms were crossed and he gave a usual inferior look to Koa. "Hey, its all good, today you are going to get to have the chance to do something, so don't you worry" Koa's thumb lifted his hood from his face a bit to make him more visible. It was certainly true that today would be an interesting day because there was never a moment where one was on a rooftop and things didn't go down.
Katon enjoyed running on this rooftop, jumping all around and even walking on railings, despite Koa's warnings. The digimon was too carefree to listen at that point, but the third and most obedient of Koa's gang, was sleeping against the railings with a big snot bubble that expanded and shrunk everytime the Neemon breathed in and out. "Shika seems to like it up her at the very least" Koa said with a chuckle to his still dead serious Strabimon and kind of just finished the chuckle in a nervous tone as he looked at the digital creature. Koa spun his body and leaned over the railings, looking out onto the landscape once again and wondering why he was do drawn to this place.
There was the sounds of big footsteps followed by softer ones coming up there way, and the bunny hooded fellow wondered who else would come up here. Koa easily took interest in finding out, but he only peered over his shoulder at the door which led to their current location. There seemed to be a familiar feeling in the air, could it have been someone he met before? No, what were the odds of that? Then again, the beta testers were not of many, but Koa knew that he did not even meet a fraction of the different tamers and digimon out here. Kuro kept his eyes on the door, wondering who it was that had the same stupid idea Koa had to come up here and if they were going to make it worth the trip there.

Further into the Darkness Wild digimon just couldn’t put up a fight like tamed ones could. His digimon got more experience and the general experience of fighting other people was worth more than simply fighting random digimon in the field despite how ill-willed or dark minded they may have been. Real experience came from overcome enemies with strategy, people and digimon alike who could honestly give him a decent challenge or run for his money. And at some point over the course of his play time Kei and all three of his digimon realized that. Thus they decided to leave the outer world and actually make it to his least favorite place in the game, the city.
He hated the city because there were only two in the entire game, and due to that both were always crowded, people were always loud and it was generally just an annoying place to be. The only upside to the dreaded area was that it actually had decent food that he didn’t have to harvest and cook himself and even then it wasn’t really worth the trouble of it all. After an hour or so of strolling through the two cities he needed a place to breathe, as he found no tamer's really willing to battle. A place of calm where he could hopefully hear himself think, a place that seemed impossible to find in the heart of this aggravating place. Eventually he found himself taking sanctuary in the academy, a place he dared not to step foot in since he first entered the game as he was a man, and as such needed no tutorial. This world was pretty straight forward for the most part anyway and questioning the topic further, who played video games to go to school? This wasn’t some shoddy ass eroge, or dating simulator he came for fun, silent fun, but fun nonetheless.
Not so surprisingly even the academy turned out to be loud or still loud enough for him to not want to deal with it. While traversing the various halls and floors he did come make note of the amount of people in the academy. Apparently many people felt the same as he did on the whole ‘tutorial’ matter. Who would have thought? After another 20 or so minutes of traversing randomly through the building and one instance where he actually lost Xia to a small group of tamers eventually the lone main character resembling player made his way to the roof.
This was no anime or drama, nor did he expect it to be. At normal schools kids did not chill on the roof lest they wished to be expelled, shat upon by birds or if one was really unlucky both. The options obviously undesirable weren’t really to be worried about in the digital world thankfully as normal birds didn’t exist and even if flying digimon had to go about their private business they all had enough sense not to partake in it on another’s head thankfully. It was due to all of this that Kei had the right to assume no normal human being, or digimon would make their way to the roof of a tutorial building on a good day in an mmo.
However even here people, or rather a single person had already hogged this place, and just as coincidence would have it Kei of course knew this person. Kei might have traveled with this person on a single occasion and Kei may have realized they weren’t entirely bad, but that didn’t change the fact the tamer did not feel like talking in the slightest. The tamer had two things in his mind, and only two things. The first was finding peace, the second was he’d come to look for a battle, and seeing as the first didn’t seem like it’d be happening today or really anytime soon, he’d continue with the latter. Aeon and Ven both sensing his motives stepped up Xia was a bit more wary but still willing to fight.
The tamer wouldn’t introduce himself again he’d just call the boy out it was faster that way. “Hey Koa right? Fight me.” No explanation behind his challenge either there was the invitation out in the open. Whether the bunny hooded adolescent would agree to the challenge or not, he had no idea.

Kuro was just hanging out, leaning against the railing and smelling the air around them up on this rooftop of the academy. Katon could not helped but be pumped up as he jumped around because he was very excited that he started to mess with Shika. “Hey Shika, do you know that you can jump off this building without getting hurt from the fall?” Katon teased the gullible Neemon that looked at him in amazement as he peered over the railings to see the ground from where they were. “Don’t listen to him Shika, he’s just being a dumbass” and Koa knocked the head of the red dragon digital creature. The Guilmon rubbed his head and sulked, looking away from the tamer that punished him for his cruel idea of a joke. Kuro shook his head but then stopped and sniffed the air, noticing a change, signaling that someone was coming.
Koa’s ears caught the sound of a door opening up, and considering where he was, that could only mean that someone else was coming up here. That was just great, the one place he came for peace and this would be his second encounter with a human being here. No matter, he let out a sigh and put on a smile as he turned his body in the direction of the door. The one he saw was a very familiar face indeed, it was the same male teenager that he had assisted in the fight against Kuwagamon along with the one called DJ. Koa was a bit surprised that he recalled his name, but realized that the guy was more observant than he put off so he nodded and complied with the request for a battle. “That’s fine by me, Stealth” Koa let him know that he remembered his face and the faces of his Leormon, BlackGuilmon, and the flirty Veemon.
Kuro stepped up and eyes each one of Stealth’s digimon, he had remembered them all too well from the previous encounter in Chip Forest. “I’ll be the first one to fight, Koa” the Strabimon said with a devilish smirk and his arms uncrossed. He gained a battle-ready position to fight whichever one of them would come at him. “That’s cool Kuro, you’re up to go” Koa said with a smirk and a wink, letting his digital beast man go ahead and be the one to be up first to battle. Stealth’s digimon were somewhat impressive during the fight against the Kuwagamon, but he believed that DJ’s Wormmon’s Big Cracker attack was the real game changer during the battle with the champion level. Speaking of which, Koa noticed that the one thing Stealth was interested in on that day was not currently with him, perhaps DJ had run off to become someone else’s pet?
“By the way…what happened to DJ? Don’t tell me you lost the kid somewhere in the Digital World” Koa wanted to know why the male who was so eager to have the white haired kid come with him did not have the same kid in his company at this moment in time. It could have been as simple as him not logged on though right now for whatever reason, so he shrugged it off mentally, though he still left the question up in the air for Stealth to answer, if he so chose to do so. “You can have the first move yo” Koa said to the tamer with a smile. Hopefully this little match that they would have would prove to be an entertaining time for Koa as well as a learning experience for him and his squad.
Words: 604 Summary: Koa agrees to fight Stealth and Kuro steps up, waiting for Stealth to decided who would fight him and start the match.
