{BATTLE RULES AND SETTING}THE ROOM’S APPEARANCE SHIFTS TO THAT OF A FROZEN ICESCAPE. THE FALLING SNOW ALONG WITH THE CHILLING BITE OF THE FRIGID AIR MAKES THIS LOCATION APPEARS AS A HARSH WINTER WONDERLAND. THERE ARE STONE PLATFORMS FOR TAMERS AND THEIR DIGIMON NOT IN BATTLE TO STAND UPON TO NOT INTERFERE WITH THE BATTLE HOWEVER THEY WILL STILL FEEL THE CHILL OF THE ATMOSPHERE. THE BATTLEFIELD ITSELF IS A FROZEN LAKE THAT HAS THOROUGHLY BEEN FROZEN. ANY ATTEMPT TO MELT OR OTHERWISE THAW OUT THE ICE WOULD NOT BE AN EASY TASK.
ICY_MOON There was this thing that Din needed to work on and that was teamwork. I realized this. Nayru realized this. I am sure that even Din realized this however had refused to admit this. Regardless this was an aspect that I was determined to fix. Considering that this game was mainly consistent and required my digimon to work together this could not be avoided. Din did not debate my wish due to her constant desire to test her abilities and do battle which was a good step. I doubted she would be decline regardless anyway. Thus I decided to go to the coliseum and attempt to create an open room for whoever wished to practice battling. The location I selected was a large open space of a frozen lake to dissuade Din from going overboard and made the battle two on two so that she could gradually build into a teamwork perspective with just partners. As I set the stage I walked down towards the staging area, the data around me forming to my desires and displaying a frigid mass of land as I stepped upon the platform that was where I am to remain. Below me I saw the sheen of blue that was to be the battlefield. However the instant that I had the chilling effect also began to wrap itself upon my form, my hands rising in search of keeping my body heat in place. The surface of my skin was developing goose bumps to my surprise and the condensation of my breath apparent. Perhaps I had misjudged. This place swiftly froze over and removed all the lingering heat in one fell swoop however it could not be helped. Aside from that it would assist in helping me understand the weather effects of this game. I was unused to cold in Okinawa aside from the feeling of getting out of the water after a swim and a breeze blowing my way. This was entirely different and made me begin to comprehend how detailed weather as well as temperature was to the minute detail affected my body. It was amusing. Regardless on strategy, I was required to select two of my digimon for the battle. First and foremost Din would be participating in this battle so it was the second digimon I must decide upon. I knew that Farore was the best when it came to teamwork and could work well with either Din or Nayru regardless of the situation. That said Nayru was proficient in the concept however when it came to working with Din, I knew neither of them worked together with each other well. Nayru always saw Din as a brute with no class and Din saw Nayru as a pansy with no strength. It was quite difficult to work with them even though I was aware that if they worked together they would likely be unstoppable. At least that was my perspective on it. Thus I would place my money on them. If we lost it would be due to their inability to cooperate and Din would suffer the consequences of defeat. If they won it would be due to working together, or on the off chance Din would get impatient or my opponents were poor fighters. “Nayru, you will be fighting with Din in this one. Farore you stay here.” I stated this while attempting to keep my words stable and understandable with a large amount of success. Farore swiftly approached my side once I said this and to my shock I felt her stand near my legs, feeling some kind of warmth comforting my bare skin. Nayru on the other hand turned to me with wide eyes while I heard a noticeable scoff from Din’s direction. “You cannot honestly expect us to-” I interrupted Nayru here. “You can and you will. Din, you have no complains right?” Din said nothing for a moment and I kept my eyes to her for an answer. After a few moments as Nayru gave up and jumped down to land on the icy arena Din spoke. “As long as she does not hold me back I have no complains.” I shook my head as she said this. This was not a good start. “Be nice. Work together with Nayru and listen to her. Understood?” Din said nothing again and turned towards the stage, looking down to Nayru. I followed her gaze and watched as Nayru appeared to be measuring how the ice mechanics worked as well. It was how she worked and I was thankful for it. Nevertheless Din replied after this to admit defeat. “As you command.” With that Din slid down the incline and I watched as she joined Nayru on the ice. Farore looked up to me and once I noticed this I looked down into her emerald eyes. “Are you sure about this?” I nodded. It was best we nip this in the bud as soon as possible. “Yeah they need to work together.” “That is not what I meant. All three of us have fur to keep up decently warm for an extended period of time. I just do not want you to catch a cold or worse.” I stared down at Farore for a moment after she said that. I was baffled. I never thought of that. Was it possible to get a cold here and have that transfer to the real world? No, that cannot be. It did cause a smile to appear on my face however. “Thanks for the consideration however I will be fine.” Farore did not appear to believe me as she further attempted to warm me but I was more concerned with who would take my challenge today. | ► Eve ► Salamon (Nayru) on the field for battle ► Psychemon (Farore) on standby ► Gazimon (Din) on the field for battle ► Ava’s Dialogue |
