{BATTLE RULES AND SETTING} Spoiler
Frozen wastes covers as far as the eyes can see. Tall looming towers of ice reaches far up into the air though they stand obliquely inward like a ribcage covering the entire battle field. Cold gusts of icy wind moves freely over the battlefield. The battlefield is made up of a tiny bit of the space that the surrounding area makes you believe there is. It is made in stages, the upper part and the lower part. The upper part consists of two icy platform like grounds with an ice bridge in between and the lower part is the floor undernearth the bridge and around the ice platforms.
RULES:
» CHALLENGER MAKES THE FIRST MOVE » 3 VERSUS 3. » Music
Gordon looked over the awe inspiring view that were the Arena area. Gordon had come here in search of a challenge, for he needed that kind of time, and such a time he would have. Behind him his Digimon-team were walking. Gizamon were taking the lead followed closely behind by Keramon and Crabmon. “What are we doing here, Master?” Gizamon began his question rather obediently as he always did, but Gordon was not fooled by his kind facade, Gizamon were plotting something or at least attempting to weaken his authority, but that was understandable for a control freak.
“We are going to test our strength against other tamers.” Gordon replied as he walked briskly forward keeping tabs on everyone moving about. There was a variety of people that he was pretty unfamiliar with and even more so Digimon that he did not know the name off. I guess my knowledge is quite limited... Gordon thought as he made his way to the Arena.
“But you haven't even spoken to another Tamer about this. Maybe we should invite one of those female tamers you know.” Gizamon said his tone teasing and obviously implying a whole lot of things without saying a thing about it. This was Gizamon's style and Gordon knew it very well, it was in fact not very well hidden so it didn't come as a surprise to him when Gizamon asked the question.
“Nah, it wouldn't do us any good with an opponent we know, it is better with a random one, with a more experienced team. That's what I hope to find here. But if you do not like my decision you are allowed to not participate, though that'd mean you would be falling further behind.” Gordon spoke his voice carried a little sternness to it as if he was rebuking the Digimon. Gizamon huffed a bit annoyed but did not make any further comment.
Gordon and his team got to the Arena selection area and chose the battlefield and the rules and set the opponent to RANDOM allowing anyone to join in, though only one tamer could do so. As Gordon entered the cold battlefield he wondered who would be the other one to step into this cold winter wonderland of battle. The cold fresh air filled his lungs and the hot air escaping from his mouth formed condensed clouds in the air even within the icy cold winds that howled over the battlefield. Keramon hugged himself and said “Why must you always choose these bloody cold places.” Gordon listened to Keramon's speech but did not answer his mind was too focused on the one who would enter the battlefield as his opponent. | Word Count: 450 Summary: Gordon and his Digimon goes to the Arena, picks the battlefield and the rules and waits for the random opponent to enter this battlefield. |

She began to think she battled too much. The regulars who visited the coliseum became faces she recognized upon entering the scene while she could begin to point out those who just arrived or had just started making this a continues thing. The feeling of familiarity, though nice, made her feel a tad bit uneasy due to what she always went to do. Battle, fight and become stronger. That was the motivate every time, shared between her Digimon and herself in mutual silence. Possibly, she thought, she could stop and give it up – ease up on the constant fighting scenes and meeting of new people in this game but in a way it had become a small addiction. She liked the rush of the fight even if it left her holding her breath in concern for her Digimon. That addiction and enjoyment made her stomach turn a bit when she thought too much on the subject; it didn't feel all too right but even so she kept it all to herself.
Her pace was slower than usual but steady, she wouldn't be late if not for a minute or so off the scheduled time. She was sure she'd make it, no doubt in any of there minds did they think they wouldn't. Like all the other times, minus the few she scheduled herself, her opponent was random. She didn't know what team he or she would be on let alone their Digimon line up; she preferred it this way, it made things interesting and relatable to opening a present on Christmas. Darting through the crowd of challengers and their respective Digimon Kate averted her gaze down, watching her Digimon keep their attention straight and focused. They were all so alike despite them arguing with one another and herself that they weren't. They were like children when alone in the Home Server, a 360 change to the emotionless battle frenzy pack they showed in public. That was their true personality as much as how they acted alone. An odd mix to say the least.
As she got to the arena there was no hesitation on going in. A smile was spread on her lips like the norm but as the cold hit her skin she stopped in her tracks as the arena came into view. Her breath caught in her throat as thoughts of Access Glacier filled her mind. Why did it have to be something like this? It could have literally been anything... Her Digimon caught the hesitation, all of them turning back a few steps ahead of their Tamer to stare at her in concern. No voiced questions were or needed to be asked, their minds all knew why she had stopped. Wincing a bit as she pushed herself forward, her breath forming a cloud of grey that covered her face for a second, her green eyes focused on the boy and his team of three before her. The smile she had now grew faint, a shadow of what it was before taking place on her lips.
She tripped slightly, Summer – her Gabumon X – brushing against her legs and nudging her in an attempt to stay as close as possible sending her off balance for a moment before getting upright. A nervous laugh escaped her, a small glance shooting down at her Digimon, before she brought her attention back to the boy and gave a small wave. “I guess you're my opponent for this fight right?” she said, her tone lower than she'd like. She didn't like this arena, it reminded her of this. Brushing her teeth against her lip Kate smiled, forcing it but making the act seem natural. “Let's have a good fight okay! The name's Kate, it's nice to meet you... um...” she began, trying to get at least a small introduction before the battle would begin. If anything she'd do with just his name, it was better then nothing. digimon. gabumon x, psychemon, blackgabumon word count. 0659 words. summery. kate finds her way to the arena, entering the area before getting taken a back by the cold envorment chosen for this fight. getting memories of the event in Access Glacier she hesitates for a moment before going forward, almost tripping on Summer who wished to stay close. greeting the boy she hopes to at least get some form of introduction from him before the battle begins. notes.

“Yes I believe I am, or I believe you must be very lost if you walked in here without the intention of fighting whoever you met.” Gordon said with a jesting smile upon his lips. He could see that this woman was not too comfortable with the battlefield itself, but that would prove to his advantage. It was not on purpose that he had chosen this kind of battlefield, for he did not know that it would mentally affect his opponent such, he had picked it for the harsh climate providing a more challenging arena.
“The name is Gordon, and I am sure we will.” He replied when the woman tried to introduce herself to him. The name she went by could mean that she either was named Kate, or she used it as a shortening of Katherine or such other varieties of that name. Gordon pondered on that, though he did not waste time. He began to assess his opponent’s team. They looked quite similar and Gordon found it quite peculiar for someone to pick Digimons so much alike, yet a little bit different. Maybe they have different tactics as well…. Gordon thought as he looked at his own Digimon ready for battle.
“Since I was the one to pick this battlefield, I’ll let you have the first move.” Gordon said as he gestured rather relaxed with his hand in the direction of his Digimon. He was not afraid that giving the first move to his opponent could cause him to have some strategic disadvantage beyond anything recoverable. In fact the Arena itself were more of a disadvantage to him, since Keramon was not made for this kind of weather, Gizamon and Crabmon were, and his opponent’s Digimon seemed to be doing just fine within this harsh weather.
| Word Count: 299 Summary: Gordon introduces himself and does a little bit of random talking. He then gives the first move to Katherine. Note: This post was shorter than a wanted, but oh well. |

Once the boy spoke up Kate couldn't help but tilt her head a bit to how he worded his reply to her asking if she was his opponent. Her question had been rhetorical, unneeding of an answer despite how it sounded, but what he gave made her feel like it was meant to sound sarcastic and interpreted in either a good or bad way. She wasn't sure to take it as a small insult or a funny joke and thus she fell in a stalemate, merely smiling and nodding to his words and quirk of the lips. It was possible the thoughts filling the back of her mind from the environment chosen as their battle arena was effecting her judgment just a tad – normally she would have had a small comeback to shoot back to the boy in a small back and forth with one another before the battle would begin but at the moment she could come up with nothing, and what did cross her mind she wouldn't allow to leave her mouth. She was suddenly at a loss of words, or rather a loss for the need to be social and speak when not necessary.
Her eyes drifted from her random chosen opponent to the team he had chosen. Like always they were all quite different though she recognized the odd shaped monster as a Keramon; another boy she had fought against had the same Digimon though the details of the match were buried within her negative feelings. A lot of Tamers had different Digimon or rather different Digimon that didn't look so similar like her team. As silly and trivial as that may be it made her feel special or at least one of a kind in some sense. It wasn't rare to run into others who had at least one of the same species of Digimon though she had never seen someone with the exact set up as one another.
Repeating the boys name in her head a few times Kate simply nodded to the boy as he gave her the go to begin the battle with giving her the first move. It wasn't abnormal to be given that chance in fights though it gave no real problem, they'd have to start one way or another. She let out a small sigh, her breath flowing from her parted lips, before looking down at her Digimon before nodding to them that they could begin. Valar and Nymeria were ready before Summer, the Gabumon X taking a moment to watch her Tamers facial expression before agreeing in silence like the rest of her pack.
Opening her jaws Summer readied herself, flames growing at the back of her throat before shooting three continuous balls of fire at the ground between her pack and the opponents. The impact of the attack sent the snow, dirt and shards of rock flying through the air and space between them, creating a wall of debris that shielded them from the opponents view. Taking the brief moment of cover Nymeria faded her body into the frozen environment, her colorful fur taking in the shadows and shades of white and grey before camouflage her entire body fully. Once the Psychemon faded away Valar took the lead in the attack, launching through the wall-like cloud of snow and dirt, shooting an array of small fireballs forward as he did.
Staying back Summer looked back at Kate who had moved a ways from the three in order to stay out of the way. She didn't like this arena and she knew it showed rather obviously to everyone who cared to look at her but under her wish to get of the fight as fast as possible a battle was a battle and she enjoyed them. “Pay attention Summer, don't get distracted because of me.” digimon. gabumon x, psychemon, blackgabumon word count. 0639 words. summery. agreeing to start the match after getting the boys name and the chance to make the first move Summer ( Gabumon X ) fires three fireballs at the ground between them using FLAME BURST, causing a mass of snow and dirt to act as a cover for both teams. taking advantage of it Nymeria ( Psychemon ) uses OVERLAY COLOR, camouflaging herself into the environment. Valar takes the lead and charges through the snow and dirt at the other pack, using NAPALM SHOT as he went through at them. Summer stays behind, using no other moves to only get reassured by Kate to not get distracted by her discomfort. notes.
