The Digital World was finally open, in fact it'd been open for over two days now in Digi-world time, which he was told was about two hours real world time. On the first day Kei or rather Stealth spent his time on the outskirts of the city. He didn't want to spend time around the infestation that was human life, and so he avoided Kurai city going in briefly to check the bbs, and the mission boards before leaving the city entirely. Currently he was traveling through the forest admiring the unique mixture of technology and forest life. He could see giant USB cables travel through the canopy of trees and large keyboard keys littering the ground. How a world like this existed he had no idea, however he wouldn’t question it, this was an escape, his escape from life. If possible he was pretty sure he wouldn't leave, nothing was really there for him not that he really cared to look.
Behind him he could hear three sets of footsteps, he didn't know them well enough to call them friends, but they told him upon meeting they were his partners and as such were as friendly as could be, excluding Aeon of course. As he thought over the three digimon following him he noticed the path split into two completely different directions.
"Ven. Any idea where these go?"
The small blue digimon shook his head in the negative, "Nope, not a clue!" Kei gave a small sigh, the cheerfulness was calming despite how useless the answer was. Ven seemed to be the most cheerful of the three which seemed to annoy Aeon. It was something to make note of, hopefully their team dynamic would increase after having traveled together for a while. After answering the hyper active blue dragon would climb a tree hoping to see where the paths lead only to see higher trees in both directions.
"Can't see anything boss." The dragon jumped off the tree landing easily still just as cheerful as he was before he began the climb.
"I'm not your boss, Aeon you know anything?"
"No."
The answer was swift, and cold, the exact same could be said for the digimon himself. Just as Kei was about to ask his third Digimon she spoke up herself,
"Are you looking for a place in particular?"
Rei, turned to her blankly, "Not really."
The Lioness smiled, "Then why does it matter?" the lion-esque digimon chirped smiling at her tamer.
”Guess it doesn't, let’s continue on.” The tamer took half a step before turning again, “Thanks Xia…" Without a second thought Kei led the group down the left path, after about thirty minutes or so of walking the path he'd noticed the trees had grown higher and the large cables that once hung off the branch of the trees now traveled along the ground. Some so high they actually had to climb over them.
"Is the entire digital world like this?" He couldn't help but wonder, was the digital sea filled with floppy disks, and batteries? Were mountains made of hard drives and mp3 players? He thought about asking his partners, but it seemed they knew about as much as he did from the looks of his last question. As he contemplated the world and its entirety Ven called to him from up ahead, he'd found a good area to rest.
The group had been walking for a while and now would be a good time for a quick rest, and so Kei gave the announcement "Take a break." he called to the group sliding off his blue trench coat revealing a straight black vest underneath, he pushed his messy black hair back adjusting his goggles before taking a seat under a tree leaning back against it. Ven and Xia took this break to actually lie down Aeon opposed to resting simply patrolled the site, obviously displeased with the situation.

The four of them moved through the trees as they strolled through the jungle and continued on for their search. What were they searching for? Not even they were entirely sure, but they would know whenever they found it. Really it was all just about exploring and mapping out the area, they were "beta testers" after all so they were suppose to get a grasp at how things worked around here. The twenty-one year old male had registered with the username "Zero" and under Team Oblivion, it just seemed to fit him more than some of the happy-go-lucky fools he saw in line that were registering for Infinity. Even though right now the teams did not really mean anything and it was just more of a Red vs Blue type a deal, he knew that there were going to be objectives later on that would spark some real competition between the two teams. Besides it was the three Digimon partners he chose which had him settle on Oblivion, he had a more virus based team which he labeled as the Requiem Pack. It had actually taken him more time to select his team than he had thought it would, but finally he settled on BlackAgumon, Kotemon and Lopmon. Wrath, the BlackAgumon, was right alongside Ryan the entire way. Step for step the little reptile kept up with his tamer, his green eyes always scanning the trees and forest as he was looking for trouble. Wrath was always ready and willing for a fight and his personality showed it too due to him being rather rash and blunt. Ryan supposed it was good in the way that this BlackAgumon was determined to become stronger and Digivolve, and he himself would not mind seeing their abilities put to the test. Pride, the Kotemon, was by far the most reserved of his three Digimon as the masked and clothed reptile trailed slightly behind the group. His kendo sword was at his waist and his arms were down at his side. He was more relaxed in his movements, and yet calm and focused. The Kotemon showed promise, the the reason he was nicknamed Pride was due to its overwhelming amount of arrogance and confidence it had in its own abilities. This was not a Digimon that sought to be more powerful because it believed it was the best already, only defeat could prove him wrong. Then there was Envy, the Lopmon, who was far different from the other two. She was outgoing and playful and all over the place. She only fell behind to run back up in place, sometimes going a bit ahead or even circling around the group. She was an eager ball of pure energy and no doubt would treat a fight like it was a game, however no matter how hard she tried she could not get Wrath or Pride to play along...which often lead her to bugging her tamer. Stumbling across an opening within the forest, they just so happened upon a field of grass that were basking in the rays of the sun which shined through the opening in the canopy of trees. The treeline outlined the entire area, making it rather secluded. It had a nice, warm and welcoming feeling to it. Ryan was not really the type to stop and sniff the roses, however the four of them could use a quick break to just rest and maybe eat a snack before they continued their journey. Wrath's stomach was complaining anyways as it kept growling...then again this BlackAgumon was pretty much always hungry...each growl of hunger his stomach emitted only produced another roll of the eyes from his tamer. While humans only had to eat about once a week in the Digital World, Digimon still had to eat on a normal and regular basis. "Come on Ryan, this is a good place to rest. Besides...I need to store up a lot of energy and keep strong if I am to Digivolve." Wrath explained, trying to be persuasive. Ryan just scoffed, "you have to train and fight too, you just can't eat your way to evolution..." The two of them talking did not even notice that they were not the only ones in the clearing until they took a few steps in and then both of them paused as they noticed Pride had silently raised his kendo sword and pointed to the other side of the clearing where another Tamer and his Digimon seemed to be resting. "Oh...hey...didn't see you there." He said softly as he tried to keep a rather flat expression, kicking himself for getting distracted by his Digimon's antics. Wrath was by Ryan's side growling and baring teeth, warning them but also practically begging for a confrontation. Pride on the other hand just stood there silently and still, saying nothing. It was Envy who giggled as she ran across the clearing to the other side. "Hey look, more Digimon!" The brown and pink bunny exclaimed as she twirled in the middle of the grass and spun her ears around gracefully, playfully dancing herself over to the Leormon. She was obviously hoping to find someone to play a game with.[/style]

day two. The low grass waved below the breath of the wind, twiddling idly against the chips protruding from the dirt and the wires that divided sections of grass unevenly. Bunny had no real reason to leave the haven of the city in the sky which provided in itself ample beauty and protection from the hardships below, but since he was a professional beauty inspector it almost beckoned him to gauge it. As a beta tester, it didn't seem right to coop himself up in the sky and look down at the Digital world without experiencing it firsthand. Sure, he could see the beauty from afar but to accurately inspect it he would need to actually come here. Thus, this led Bunny to where he was now. The Chip Forest, standing tall between a divide in the land and a jungle that appeared to be quite tropical. Back in Compton he didn't experience the thrill of exploration, let alone of such strange places, all too often. Adventure was an opportunity, and as he walked with his white hood over his head and his hands slid halfway into his jean pockets, he was going to seize that opportunity with some friends.
Luna, Astra, and Sol. They all had their own unique personality and quirks, which was as amusing as it was beautiful. Bunny didn't intend to get too attached to these Digimon as of yet for this was just a game and they were coded, scripted to do this and that. Admittedly, though, the replication of this beauty virtually was almost flawless. The three of them already had some sort of deep bond with Bunny, as if indebted to him or something. That wasn't quite his thing, but if they were the ones protecting him he figured it couldn't have been a bad thing.
He walked carefree, letting each of the Digimon do as they pleased. Astra the Phascomon crawled along in his own little world as if Bunny nor anyone else was around him. Sol was busy doing what she did, which was essentially attempt to learn from and mimic Bunny to be just like him in as many ways as possible. Luna... Bunny didn't actually know what she was doing. Usually she was watching him making sure he didn't step near something that had the possibility of harming him or warning him that if he continued walking in one direction he'd run into instant death. But now she wasn't here. Huh.
"There is another tamer up ahead," Bunny stopped walking. "Huh?" He turned around to see the Renamon, in all her beauty, looking at him with the same serious gaze that never left her. "I wouldn't take the chance, Bunny." Her voice dipped down into the same pleading tone he already recognized even though he had only known this Digimon for about a day and a half now. The teen didn't get a chance to answer before the Lopmon, walking at his side with her ears dragging against the grass, answered for him, "B-but... what if there is beauty to behold?" Fantastic. This beta thing was working out.
Bunny nodded at the Lopmon and then looked at the Renamon whom stared at him. He shrugged, turning around with a chuckle and walking forward a little more. "Won't know unless we go see, huh? I'm getting that feeling, though, 's beauty." Sol gained a bit of a spring in her step, getting a bit ahead of Bunny and Astra before falling back in step with them as they too were eager and sped up. This all halted when they found a break in the trees which was quite dense and had put an end to the trail of low-lying flowerless grass they had taken. Regardless, Bunny found a way into what he thought would be a sort of clearing or something beyond the break of trees.
First things first, Bunny took out his digivice and used it to degenerate Luna. He said it was because she was too threatening as a Renamon and that Viximon was a lot nicer. This didn't put Luna in the best mood but it was alright, she'd get over it. Bunny reached the clearing in this way, with Lopmon at his left, Phascomon at his right, and Viximon leading the walk. As soon as Bunny arrived he noticed not one tamer but two. Each of them had their own arsenal of Digimon that looked threatening in their own way. The man in the cloak, who looked quite daunting, even had a Lopmon like his.
"Hello beauties."
"Salutations."
"He-... Yo."

This place was just full of surprises. It was nothing at all like Theo had expected, what with the whole realistic tones to the entire digitally created world, not to mention the shocking solidity factor of both its landscapes and the creatures known as Digital Monsters. He couldn't get over it. Heh, well, probably he would, but it would take time. Just like anything really.
One of the things that came as a special gift to him was his specially picked out Digipack. The introduction to the game reminded him an awful lot of an RPG. You had your party, you have that typical option of naming them, and then you set out. Although, there was a couple of differences, for instance, the critters he'd picked each had their own very unique identity - in other words, personality. Theo hadn't really expected it; it was yet another thing to get used to.
It'd been day and a half ago digitally that he'd first been greeted by the trio and, already, they'd developed something of a bond.
Atreyu, the pink and brown, tri-horned rabbit had instantly attached himself to Theo's head, refusing to use his own two feet to navigate this strange world. The Lopmon, as his species seemed to be called, was fairly easy to handle, even if he was a little on the clingy side. He was pretty much hitching a ride right now on Theo's head; same as usual. It was a certain particular Digimon that wasn't a breeze to babysit.
Oswald.
Yup, he was pretty lovable, in his own way. Not to mention fascinating to watch. Yet, he seemed to have problems shutting up and slowing down. As Theo tread through the vast expanse of forest the DemiDevimon twittered away, twisting and turning through the branches as easily as a squirrel could leap up a tree.
Vincent, the last of the group, and the laziest, was trailing after them yawning every couple of minutes and staring about himself with a half-lidded expression. He was perfectly happy with this environment, a corner of his brain instinctively letting him know that he was more or less home. However, he wouldn't mind if they'd stop and rest... He didn't really see the point in mindless wandering.
"Hey... why we doin' this anyways? I... kinda' forgot a while ago." Vincent yawned.
Theo glanced back, unbalancing Atreyu a moment, who instantly threw open his wings in an attempt to keep himself steady. "We're here just to see the sights," Theo replied with a small shrug. "I'm supposed to be, like, a tester of sorts, right? So, it'd make sense if I'm out checking things over."
"... 'Kay."
"Hey guys, hey! There's a reeeeally shiny, glittery spot over there! Maybe we could head for it, huh, huh?" Oswald chirruped, dancing in front of the three, his short legs paddling at the air.
"Uhhhhh, I... guess?" Theo quirked a brow at the hyperactive mini demon, who giggled and performed a loop-de-loop of joy.
"Oh my god. OMG! This is fuuuun!" he squealed. "Guuuys, look'a me! I'm so awesome and fly, and - and fly!" He paused, suddenly realizing he'd been left behind. "Awwww." He pouted. "Wait for me!"
This forest was pretty dense, even if there were occasions where it opened up; the sunshine from above glittering down on the floor below. On occasion, Theo spotted things that brought a list of questions crowding the front of his brain; for instance, why would anyone hang a giant computer mouse from a tree? It was pretty nonsensical.
"Is it with a surety that this "spot" Oswald spoke of is a secure area? We may end up engaging in a form of strife - not that I am against such an event, but, I would prefer if that wasn't the case," Atreyu said, leaning backwards so that his floppy ears drooped over the back of Theo's head, giving him a semi-hat of sorts.
"I... yeah, it should be. I mean, I don't see why not." Theo shoved his hands in his pockets as he spoke, looking straight ahead. "If we do end up fighting against something, we'd be more or less prepared for it anyway. Besides, didn't you say you'd enjoy getting more experience on the battle front?"
"Yes, but I am not really in the mood for it."
Oswald whizzed past their heads, clipping Atreyu's dominant horn in the process. He scowled and rubbed at it, shooting a glare at the DemiDevimon a few seconds later. "It's a-this-away guys!" the lively Digimon exclaimed flicking a wing to the north-east.
"Yeah, we know. You gestured that way a few moments ago."
"Oh... Weee're going in the right direction then!" He laughed and twirled upside-down, holding it for a few moments before turning right-side-up once more.
Soon, the party came across a particularly open space within the middle of the forest. Just like the occasional breaks in the woodland's canvas, sunlight shone through, illuminating a pack of Digimon and their dark-haired human companion. Oh. "He and his faction are not the only ones," Atreyu muttered. He nodded to a dancing Lopmon and the rest of its team and back to a more shaded spot, where another group stood. "There's two others with their own packs, in addition to this stranger's."
Theo exhaled quietly and gave a semi-shrug, before stepping out into the sunlight. "Howdy," he greeted. Best to make yourself known, than not at all, right?
NOTES: Theo's came across the clearing with directions from Ozzie whilst on a semi-patrol through the forest.

Running Out of Light. “I should have made the right.”
Was the first thought that came to mind as Kei found himself surrounded by literally a group of complete strangers with no real way to slip away in sight. This is the exact thing he was trying to avoid after all he detested people. Why else would he have avoided both Hikari and Kurai city for as long as possible. It seemed as if he was destined to be caught by these people regardless of how far from society he slipped away. Based on these statements he couldn’t help but mock himself, after all he sounded like a hermit. Which in truth wouldn’t be too surprising a future for him. He decided to think back on the point exactly where he screwed up which was only about 10 or so minutes ago…
He’d gone left at the passage and walked for a while before ending up in a rest area of sorts, the trees overhead blocking out a lot of the sunlight left for a nice cool shade to relax in for a while. Kei thought he’d traveled far enough from the hubs of the world for this not to be a problem, or even a worry. So when Aeon began growling at one of the openings to the clearing he was a bit surprised to say the least.
The tamer to appear from the brush looked to be a little older than him probably in his mid or early twenties, the man had a very ominous appearance, with a long black overcoat and flowing dark colored hair he didn’t seem like a guy to trifle with, he felt like a person who’d stab you in the back the moment you looked away, however Kei had never been the best judge of character as he had little experience when it came down to judging others. Aeon’s growling was met with the growling of another dark digimon, in particular a Black Agumon. Two volatile digimon like these two wouldn’t play nice unless some kind of truce was made, however fighting may not have been such a bad idea. Aeon and his partners had been longing to fight for a good minute now and this might have been a good time to actual test their limits.
However before anyone could attack a tension breaker came in the form of a brown and pink bunny esque digimon. Seeing the small Lopmon going over to her Xia wasted no time making peace with the digimon more than happy to have a new friend. Ven was a bit wary, but still not very aggressive a smile still plastered across his face.
“Hiya I’m Xia what’s your name?” The lion cub digimon, asked happily.
Before anything else could be said, another tamer arrived at the clearing and a rather… eccentric one at that. Immediately referring to everyone as ‘beauties’. He looked to be his step brother’s age or somewhere around there, maybe 15 he’d even go as far as to say 16 the tamer’s most defining feature being his eyes. The tamer walked with his own Lopmon and the pre-digivolution of Renamon, he knew as it was one of the many digimon he originally considering choosing, he couldn’t remember the name of her what was referred to as ‘in-training’ form.
Vintagemon? Versesmon? Vixermon?
It was something around those, probably the second one if he had to guess. With the arrival of these new Digimon Ven perked up a bit, especially with the addition of the new female digimon to the party of twelve. While Ven was admiring the Versesmon Kei had an idea, a ‘parlay’ of sorts. Although used more frequently when dealing with pirates it was a good way to ensure a ceasefire in-case anyone still had the idea to attack. He pulled his D-power from his pocket before issuing a command. “De-Digivolve.” Immediately a white light enveloped both Ven and Aeon reverting them both to their in-training states. Ven reverting back to his Demi-Veemon form, and Aeon to a black variation of Gigimon. Despite his reverted state Aeon still refused to back down from the Black Agumon.
“Look, I don’t want any trouble.” His voice wasn’t as cold as it was simply neutral. Once he got the chance he wanted to slip away, but with Xia enjoying the company of what could potentially be new friends it’d be more difficult, and there was also Ven to deal with… Wait where was Ven? He’d been too preoccupied with avoiding trouble to notice the Demi-Veemon swaggering over to the Versesmon. That… probably wasn’t good.
“Hey beautiful, how about you and me ditch the show and head out into the woods, I mean, I’d really love to take such a extraordinary digimon such as yourself out for a time.” He’d offer out his left...arm…paw… appendage… thing to the digimon.
As Kei watched Ven play Romeo unapprovingly another stranger made their way out into the clearing, this one seemed to be rather straightforward. The newest male came with a strange penguin esque digimon, a Demi-Devimon, and of course a Lopmon just as the other two had. The difference being these three hadn’t immediately made their way into the center of the group as many of the other digimon already had.
“Tch,” Kei cursed his luck with each person arriving it’d be increasingly difficult to actually leave, or at least leave without stepping on anyone’s toes, and with two of his own partners already immersed with the others’ digimon it was apparent he’d be forced to stay for a little longer than he originally hoped. If Aeon hadn’t been so concerned with Agumon in front of him, perhaps they’d have sensed the others on the way and been able to escape while they had the chance, if he’d decided to keep going instead of resting in this obvious place then, again maybe he wouldn’t be in this situation. It was his stupidity that lead him into this social trap of sorts, and now all he could do now was roll with it.
“I guess we better introduce ourselves…” He’d finally say aloud “Most call me Kei, the aggressive looking one is Aeon, the joker is Ven, and the lion is Xia.” They’d all nod despite where they were, “Would it be too much to ask for names from you all?” In the silence that followed he found himself thinking. “I should have made the right.”

Envy always was rather outgoing, her personality was sort of the sore thumb of the group. The Tamer of Oblivion had not actually expected to run into anyone, he was simply just out exploring but he supposed it could not be helped especially with many others doing the same. He was not all that social, but just running into one group was no big deal. He could certainly handle it and it seemed like Envy was going to do all of the talking. The next few moments brought upon a series of events that no one could have predicted. The small clearing in the large forest would soon become a sudden meeting place for tamers and their Digimon partners alike as two more male tamers came stumbling about, each with their own pack of three Digimon partners. So with a total of four tamers and twelve Digimon, it was quite the gathering. Ryan frowned slightly as his eyes scanned each one. The turnout was unexpected and the odds of them all ending up at this point seemed very strange unless one had been following the other to this area. That or multiple paths in the jungle lead to this point for some reason, the odds of this coincidence was actually starting to bother him. The sudden gathering made Ryan want to sink back into the trees and continue on his way. Being that he was not the most social individual he did not want to get caught up in some idle chit chat, small talk could be painfully awkward after all. He could only bare those with a decent personality at most, and with the nine twelve other individuals here it was more than likely that there were some whom he could not stand or whom he was incapable of getting along with. This DemiVeemon was working its way up the list. Right away he noticed how many Lopmon there seemed to be, though his own Lopmon was the one to point it out. "Whoa...it's like being in a fun house of mirrors. It's this sort of thing that gives us bunnies a bad rep, but its not our fault we are the animal of fertility." She laughed and twirled around before gesturing to herself. "Listen up everyone, the name is Envy and I'm the best Lopmon in town!" She laughed again and looked back at Xia and gave the Leormon a playful wink. Ryan just sighed and refrained from slapping himself in the face with the palm of his hand. While some of the other tamers had reverted a couple of their Digimon back to in-training form, Ryan already knew that both Wrath and Pride would not like that. Wrath was aggressive and sought out strength and power, but he knew better than to lash out for no reason. Pride was usually always relaxed and calm anyways, never wanting to lose his cool. Besides, he liked to be prepared among all else. There was no telling what was wandering around out here in the jungle. It was good to know that most of them seemed to not be looking for trouble, it would probably get rather hectic if four tamers and all their Digimon started bashing heads. Ryan cleared his throat as he followed the lead of Kei, the tamer he had stumbled across in the first place and the tamer that had made it to this clearing before the rest. "Username Zero. I'm a tamer of Team Oblivion. This is Wrath the BlackAgumon, Pride the Kotemon, and of course...you all met Envy already." He gestured and his Lopmon gave another twirl in the middle of the clearing. He tended to avoid giving out his real name, he saw no point in it really anyways. It was not like it defined him or gave up any valuable information. Right now he was just a beta tester in this so called game environment, he was user Zero.[/style]

day two. Bunny bit his lip, thrusting his hands down into his sweatshirt's pockets and standing a little straighter than he usual did. Two different beta testers, both looking a bit older than him and having visages that were a little scarier than the happy-go-lucky blonde portrayed. Regardless, such a meeting like this didn't just happen by luck, did it? When three people in a large world with not so many people collide at the same time in the same place it must have been written in the beauty that they would meet. Why the beauty wanted him to be here of all places was actually beyond him, but he didn't expect to understand and grasp the complexity of beauty. Not at first, anyway. Bunny hadn't been there long when suddenly a fourth group entered the clearing and now all sides of the clearing were occupied with a tamer and their digimon. Each person had their own little story to tell based on their appearance, or so Bunny estimated.
The first dude, the one who he had laid eyes on first and the guy whom he suspected got here first, was actually pretty chill looking. He was wearing goggles like he was a pilot or something (maybe even the main character?), which he assumed he wasn't, but maybe he was something special as he did have a trench coat of sorts. Only people who shot people up wore trench coats. But he took off the trench coat so maybe he wasn't in danger of the man pulling a concealed weapon from the coat. Besides, the stranger had a sort of shoujo-face and wasn't entirely intimidating with that in consideration. Questionable beauty, but he did have some pretty cool looking Digimon which he reverted back to in-training state. Maybe he didn't want any trouble-- oh look he said he didn't want any trouble. Beautiful.
Then there was that guy. The guy that could only be identified as that guy, who looked too old to be playing this game and was probably the scariest of the newcomers. The one guy that was probably here because he was the best at playing the game and was about to mop the floor with everyone else no problem, GG no re. That guy was rocking a cloak and looked like a wizard straight out of Hogwarts. He had Digimon too. One was a Lopmon just like his. Wasn't nearly as beautiful as Sol, though.
Finally there was the normal looking guy. He was normal and wasn't so extravagant, but he did have a sort of lax appearance and didn't seem to be looking for any trouble at all. Bunny didn't think he was that much of an issue, but he did have a Lopmon as well. Sol's eyes were wide as she realized just how beautiful the digimon around her were. Competition. She couldn't handle it. Viximon and Phascomon remained stationary as Bunny did, not caring to walk forward or engage in conversation. However, a Demiveemon did walk up to the Luna and try to engage in some sort of conversation. "... I believe I am out of your league, sir. I cordially decline." She backed up a little, unsure of what to say or do beyond this rejection. Sol, on the other hand, was rolling her eyes as Envy the Lopmon went on some sort of spiel. She turned over in Bunny's arms, snuggling against his chest and looking away from the others. She was usually in a really good mood. Must have been a disturbance in the beauty. "H-home..." she whimpered.
Introductions followed. Dude with goggles introduced himself in a pretty straightforward was, that guy did in the same way you'd expect that guy to do it. " 'ey. The name's Bunny," he gestured to each of his Digimon, "Sol... Luna... Astra..." Sol continued nuzzling into his chest, whimpering a little bit as she did so. "Yo, I hate tah be the guy to tell y'all this but y'aren't collectively beautiful for me to stick around. You-" he pointed to Theo, "Your Lopmon is ugly." He pointed to the cloaked man, "You. You scare me And your Lopmon is ugly."
Bunny looked forward to the guy with the goggles. "You... You're cool. I guess." Bunny turned around, making his leave with Viximon trailing behind him, Lopmon in his arms, and Astra walking at his side without a single word. Turns out the beauty didn't call upon him to say and speak to these people, not today anyway. "Bye, strangers," Viximon spoke off-handedly during their slow retreat from the clearing.

| It was as if a mini party had just sprung up in the middle of clearing. A once open space was now filled with twelve Digimon and their four Tamers. Theo remained where he was for a little bit, simply studying the others, happy that his shades could keep his gaze hidden from the strangers. There was something almost alarming about the dark-haired guy sat near to, what Theo assumed, to be his BlackGuilmon, a lion-like Digimon, and a Veemon. Maybe it was something to do with how the dude looked, or maybe it was simply his team, however the blond soon discovered it was the latter as the man took out his D-Terminal and degenerated the snarling dinosaur and the blue flightless dragon. The other raven-haired man seemed that much older than the other, with a calm aura that exuded from him in waves. His BlackAgumon didn't seem to be too ecstatic on being here, with its brows knitted and sharp teeth showing in aggression. However, the guy's Lopmon was on completely the opposite scale; it danced over to the small feline Digimon to greet it happily. The last Tamer was by far the most eccentric, calling out to refer to everyone as beauties. He also had a Lopmon, Theo noted. What, was the rabbit that revered as being picked by pretty much everyone? Not that he cared that much, he would've picked Atreyu anyways, but... it just seemed a little... odd. It was around this time that the introductions began. Theo decided that he'd stood at the edge long enough and headed a little closer to the group. "You can call me Nameless," he said as he walked, offering the briefest form of waves. " The clingy one is Atreyu." He gestured to the Lopmon, whom lay as flat as he possibly could against Theo's head. "This is Vincent and that's-""Hiya~ I'm Oswald!" the DemiDevimon exclaimed, twirling in the air. "Uh, yeah. So, we've got a bit of a party going on here, huh?"Vincent moved away from his Tamer and headed straight into the middle of the opening, plopping back down with a yawn. He couldn't care less if there was a billion humans and Digimon around him, right now all he wanted to do was rest. Oswald grinned and swooped past his head, clipping the Muchomon's crested ears as he headed over to Envy and Xia. "Mind if I sit with you guys?" he asked, with a smile. "Too much," Atreyu mumbled. "This is too much..." He couldn't stand being so close to so many people. He couldn't stand it. His ears lifted as the one known as 'Bunny' pointed his way. His expression remained neutral as the boy called him ugly. However, his eyes glimmered with the anger his face didn't show, his head raising to watch the stranger leave. Theo merely smiled and shook his head, amused. If there was any kind of exit that screamed dramatic, that Bunny's was it. "So... this expedition is certainly turning out to be interesting."Maybe he should DeDigivolve his team too... Mm, nah, they didn't look harmful in the least. The most intimidating looking one was the complete opposite to how he appeared. He doubted that things would end up going west from here on out anyways. Everyone seemed friendly enough. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- SUMMARY Theo introduces his gang alongside the others, whilst Atreyu silently sends hate-glares at the retreating back of Bunny. | Words: 595

Running Out of Light.
"Not the most social group."
Kei was correct about one thing, the assumed character was indeed quite the...character. Blowing off the group, surprisingly avoiding him in his little monologue, before leaving. Half of Kei was simply confused as he didn't understand the point the other half and more than ready to shrug it off as he hadn't offended him in the slightest. Even if he had, it didn't really matter despite the outburst. It didn't seem like the kid was looking for trouble in the short-term anyway as he had already left. Demi-Veemon on the other hand was a little disheartened having been shut down pretty coldly by the viximon. The blue digimon walked back to Kei's eyes his eyes a little sad but more annoyed than anything. Kei would talk to the digimon later to help regain some spirit, but now obviously wasn't the time as both people in the area didn't seem the need to ask any questions or do anything after having introduced themselves. Their guards were still up as was his own. He still felt like slipping away but the chance wasn't open unless he wanted some big display just as Bunny had.
"So... What bring you two out to the woods." He'd chosen to ignore the exit of the previous tamer entirely as they'd both most likely have sour feelings toward him at this point. "I was trying to get away from the city it felt a bit stuffy." Kei's voice was still as neutral as he could manage to keep it. He'd glance over towards the dark coated man, “I thought no one would have made it this far out yet, but I was obviously mistaken.” Perhaps Bunny had been right. This man could have been one of those power gamers he'd heard oh so much about in the real world, people who played and didn't stop playing until they got to the top of the ladder through any means they could manage. Not to say the man was wrong for it, but the oldest of the three definitely looked the part.
The other kid just seemed to have wandered out here, making Kei feel like he'd simply walked in a complete circle. He should have passed a kid like this up ages ago. Kei meant no offense by the thought, but the kid seemed like one who simply didn't have a purpose. It was a heavy assumption, but Kei honestly couldn't give less of a damn about it.
It was then that the black gigimon glared at Kei before giving the call to digivolve him back to his rookie form, Demi-Veemon did the same in a less aggressive manner. Something was causing the two digimon to tense up. Xia seemed too busy with her new pal or possibly pals to truly notice anything coming. Kei a bit on edge now nodded. He could only hope this was a false alarm as he activated the double digivolution via his D-power.
Meanwhile...
"It's nice to meet you Envy!" The digimon purred at the lopmon happily. “I know I've only been with Kei for a little over a day, but it's my first time meeting someone that wasn't well one of those three so it's really nice to make your acquaintance! What brings you and your tamer out to these parts?" As she finished another digimon made his way towards them. "Of course I don't mind. The more friends the better, that's what I think." The digimon was peppy, but polite. “Your name is Oswald right? Well it's nice to meet you too! I was just wondering what everyone was doing so far ou-" she'd been interrupted by her tamer.
Meanwhile...
Aeon would grunt at the black Agumon who Kei found very aptly named, before finally backing away. It seemed like trouble was close at hand and he needed to be around his tamer. "What a pain." He'd look over to the two humans in the clearing once more, "My digimon are sensing something, judging by the looks on their face I don't think it's friendly."
"Xia,on guard, we don't have time for games." the Lion digimon would stop mid sentence and look at the two apologetically before returning to his side. Hopefully whatever was coming would just pass by quickly and more importantly, passively.

He was not really one for small talk after all. However it would seem that his Lopmon, Envy, would already place herself in the middle of this encounter as she was already mingling in the middle of the clearing with two other Digimon. A Leormon that belonged to the Tamer, Kei, and a DemiDevimon that belonged to the Tamer whom went by the identity of 'Nameless'. No doubt it must have been his username, just like how Ryan had introduced himself as 'Zero'. It was odd nonetheless. Though the strangest of them all was the kid that went by 'Bunny', no doubt another username or ridiculous nickname. His Digimon seemed to be like him too, well his Lopmon's personality seemed to match his own...in fact it reminded Ryan of his own Lopmon which was a bit frightening. The number of Lopmon in this general area was bothersome, however the one which clung to 'Nameless' did not see so outgoing. Luckily though it would seem that Bunny and his little band of Digimon and their odd personalities would take their leave...but not before he would speak his mind as he pretty much addressed everyone with a snarky comment. Ryan just simply raised an eyebrow at the kid as he talked about beauty and addressed the other Lopmons that were not his own as 'ugly'. Bunny also noted that he thought Ryan was scary...which was interesting to say the least. Ryan just gave an awkward nod as the tamer left with his Digimon and he was uncertain about what to really say or do at that moment. The awkward moment would be interrupted though as it seemed like there was indeed something coming toward them. Not only were Kei's Digimon on edge, but Ryan's as well. Wrath the BlackAgumon and Pride the Kotemon had both turned toward the trees as the sound of branches cracking and crashing down could be heard. Wrath growled as his green eyes gleamed brightly with anticipation. Pride calmly withdrew his kendo sword and held it ready and steady. Envy was still too busy goofing off in the middle of the field and not paying enough attention. There was a loud guttural roar followed by the sounds of a few more trees crashing down onto the forest floor, the ground vibrating subtly beneath their feet. Suddenly the large, ogre-like Digimon burst into the clearing, splintering the two trees it rammed through as it swung its large bone club. Ryan was still as he only winced at the sheer sound of the Digimon's screeching while the trees that were turned into nothing more than mulch sprinkled over him and his Digimon. Immediately the Tamer from Team Oblivion recognized the champion level wild Digimon as it had made several appearances throughout the video game and anime franchise of the Digimon series. It was Ogremon, a rather nasty ogre that was known to be temperamental...no doubt that's how this virus type was typically programmed, but he doubt they would stumble across one that was well mannered and looking for friendship. The intents of the Ogremon did not really matter, for it seemed threatening enough and as soon as it appeared Wrath was on the move. The BlackAgumon growled as he charged in rashly, not caring about the size difference or level difference. Ryan just scoffed as he observed his BlackAgumon being as hot headed as ever. Wrath lunged, his claws glowed bright blue as a blue flame engulfed them and burned with an intense heat as he slashed at the Ogremon's chest. The champion level ogre just simply countered with his bone club, deflected the flaming claw and then sending Wrath flying backwards with the force of his swing. Wrath flipped and landed heavily on his feet after being sent flying back, his claws dug into the ground as he came to a halt and shook off the vibrations that rang through his body and he growled with frustration.[/style]

| ... Or maybe it would end up going west. The crashing and smash of something solid against the nearby trees caused Theo to look back, alert from the mention of something big and bad headed their way. It took him a moment to realize that the giant green thing was in actual fact a Digimon, and it was only in those few moments before that that a black blur came rushing towards it, a blue glow blazing forth from its maw and claws. It struck out at the Ogremon, which merely swung its club at it in a counter-attack. Its attacker was sent flying back, where it landed, plunging its claws into the earth with a look of aggravation across its face. Wrath, Theo's mind supplied for him. The BlackAgumon. He didn't look like he'd fare well against that thing alone... Teamwork seemed to be the best course of action in this case. "Come on, Atreyu. Could use your help for this," he told the Lopmon, poking at one of his ears to gain his attention. "I see it," Atreyu said quietly. "I can fight it." He hopped down from his perch, lifting his ears to allow them to catch the breeze as he landed. He hadn't moved far away from Theo, just a little ahead of him, frightened of venturing too far from his only form of protection against the rising social panic. As the Ogremon stepped forward in preparation of a secondary attack against the BlackAgumon, Atreyu released a few shots of ice-cold air at it. Most simply bounced of off it, although one caught in its eye, sending it stumbling back momentarily. Just enough time for any other attacks to be targeted in the enemy's direction. Vincent, meanwhile, just watched all of this unfold for a few moments from his viewpoint. He slowly stood up after a while and headed over to be closer to his Tamer - he didn't really want to participate in the fight just yet. "Aww." Oswald pouted, unhappy with the fact that the conversation of the one called Xia had been cut-short. Oh well~ Hopefully the chatter and happy atmosphere would return soon. He rarely had time to actually truly socialize for these last couple of days and it would be nice to start up again. To hang out with some friends! ----------------------------------------------------------------------- SUMMARY Atreyu(Lopmon) blasted Blazing Ice at the advancing Ogremon, whilst the other two Digis of Theo's team remain on standby, for now. | Words: 389

Running Out of Light.
In a flash Kei had his D-Power out and ready to scan the digimon. he fumbled with the device for a moment not sure how it worked but he'd heard that it gave information on digimon one hadn't seen before he pressed the few buttons on the screen to no avail after trying various combinations through a very lucky coincidence he just happened to point the device at the Ogre digimon for a holographic screen to appear before him it showing a picture of the giant digimon, his name, and finally a small description and listing one of its attacks, Kei would read the description aloud in case either of his makeshift battle partners needed a bit more information on what they were facing.
"Ogremon, It's a virus and Oni digimon whatever that means, It's feint punch breaks it's opponents with a powerful smash, but that club doesn't look too 'pleasant' either." Kei scouted each of his digimon like the darker variant of the Agumon Aeon had also begun an attack on its own. "Tch, the two have more in common then they realize." the tamer griped before calling to the digimon directly it was foolish to try and get the digimon to stop his charge, but maybe he could convince Aeon to attack the ogre digimon at a range.
"Stop. You don't stand a chance close up attack from a range." It was amazing how useless he felt having to stand on the sidelines while his digimon fought the battle alone. Luckily just as Kei finished Aeon was able to witness the brute force of the digimon second hand as he watched the Agumon variant clash with ogre only to be knocked back with relative ease. The black guilmon wasn't really fazed by the attack in fact he happy to have a worthy opponent the bigger they were the more accomplished he'd feel when they fell. He did however agree a direct approach wasn't the way to do this and so from the pits of the stomach he call a word, "Fireball" and following said word a mid sized black fireball flew towards the grotesque digimon aimed directly for the beast's forehead. However the blast was seen coming from a mile away and thus the orb of black flames dispersed in an instant as it was hit by the same club that knocked the Agumon away only moments ago.
The attack was completely useless, but it could have been worse as the tamer thought that he'd glance at the Agumon who just recovered from the attack it'd received only moments ago.
Up ahead Aeon could be heard cursing at his failure, regardless the digimon wasn't ready to give up just yet he was more than ready to his attack another go and just as he was Kei called him back, "Let's regroup." another curse the shadow dinosaur did not like being interrupted in the heat of the battle Kei quickly learned. The digimon however did as ordered whether it was due to the fact the tamer ordered it or because he realized his attacks were going nowhere the adolescent didn't know.
Meanwhile Ven although watching the events that were happening didn't seem to eager to join in on this battle, obviously still taking what the Viximon said earlier to heart. The digimon was in no real condition to fight and although Kei really just wanted to tell the digimon to man up and get over it he didn't really have the luxury of time throughout the conflict, so he'd allow the blue dragon digimon to sit out of this attack, for now at least.
While Aeon was fighting the ogre, and Ven was fighting depression Xia was attempting to save her new friends and avoid the conflict entirely. As the trees crashed around them Envy seemed to preoccupied to actually notice what was going on with her surroundings. In that way Envy and Xia were actually pretty similar in the fact they were both distracted pretty easily, and when focused they both seemed to simply zone out of everything else even if it was a gigantic ogre making their way towards them. if Kei hadn't called her back when he did she'd be to focused on the concept and priority of making friends that she'd also lose sight of her surroundings. That however wasn't all occasionally depending on the situation Xia did not only lose sight but she also had a tendency to lose perspective. thankfully this wasn't one of those times.
When she noticed the Envy wasn't trying to run away from the ogre digimon and Oswald seemed to simply not care Xia thought maybe she could be a hero and get both digimon out of there she didn't want to lose two new friends after she'd just managed to make them. They'd be her first friends after Ven Aeon, and Kei, and that really wasn't much seeing as she wasn't even sure she could call Aeon a friend, after all he'd done the most in attempts not to concern himself with her or Ven's problems usually calling them petty or whatever negative thing he felt like saying at that moment.
Thus she dashed off towards the two. With two dark minded distractions making it to the two digimon was easier than she'd originally thought it'd take and it became even easier when the giant ogre was sent spiraling back thanks to the third tamer's digimon Lopmon. It may not have been much but as far as she could tell they were making a little bit of progress thankfully. While the ogre reeled back she sped up until she met her new friends once again. Oswald seemed to know exactly what was going on but Xia wasn't too sure about Envy. "Um sorry you two, but I think we should you know get out of here while we have the chance cause, of the Ogremon. So lets hurry a little does that sound alright? she didn't want to seem to pushy after all they were new friends.

"Relax. I never back down from a challenge, no matter how fierce the competition. It could turn out to be fun after all. Besides, I can't run or hide while there is another Lopmon in play. I can't be shown up, for I am the best and I am the star!" Envy exclaimed as her eyes beamed at the other Lopmon and then at the large Ogremon, her eyes gleamed with determination. She had learned to be courageous from the other Digimon Partners and from her Tamer as well, besides Ryan was not the type of guy to turn and run from a fight so she knew she could not either. She was expected to stand and put up a good fight to the very end. No situation was hopeless, well at least they had not crossed anything they could not handle as of yet. Sure this wild Digimon was strong, but he was greatly outnumbered and probably not well trained or versed in fighting. His movements and actions seemed rather uncoordinated and random. Envy readied herself as some of the other rookies were already ganging up on the Ogremon, however their efforts had little to no effect as most attacks were just glancing off and barely making him flinch. No doubt it would be hard for a single rookie to generate enough power to take down a champion alone, they would need some support and help. Working together was really their only option. The Lopmon ran up next to Wrath the BlackAgumon and stood by his side in order to offer support since he looked like he just got the wind smacked out of him even though he recovered quickly. Wrath just growled deeply in acknowledgement as his eyes were going from the BlackGuilmon to the Ogremon. He would not be outmatched or outdone here, he would show his strength and all of his might. He would not give up until his body gave out...which usually meant regressing a level to in-training. Wrath charged once again with a cry for battle, Envy grunted as she was right behind the stubborn reptile. She had hoped to form some kind of plan, but Wrath was being as hot headed and impatient as ever. So it was up to Envy to try and at least come up with some sort of combination, something that Wrath could naturally just build off of. Jumping off the ground, Envy twisted her small, brown body around rapidly as she whipped her ears around like propellers. The wind caught under her ears and formed all around her twisting figure as she took to the air and climbed to a height just above the Ogremon's head. Suddenly halting her twirling movement, Envy unleashed a powerful whirlwind that twisted downward upon the Ogremon like a miniature tornado. The heavy and thick winds smacked him right in the face, causing him to just grunt with annoyance and wince as he closed his eyes to protect it from the harsh wind. That moment presented Wrath with a small opening. He opened his mouth wide to bare his fangs and prepare to attack. The back of his throat glowed with blue flames he formed from an intense heat within the core of his body. All at once he unleashed the torrent of blue flames from his mouth and it burst from his throat and sprayed out like a flamethrower, blanketing the Ogremon in flames. The whirlwind creating by Envy only increased the volume and ferocity of the flames since it breathed life into the flickering inferno. The Ogremon shouted angrily from the pain of being singed by the fire and he instinctively raised his arms in defense. While Envy and Wrath worked their combination on Ogremon, Pride the Kotemon and his tamer Ryan had already put their plan into action. Pride had worked his way around Ogremon whom was distracted by the other rookies he had to deal with. Jumping from branch to branch now, the Kotemon had positioned himself behind the Ogremon's current position and he was up in the branches that reached above the large, green champion's height. With Wrath and Envy attacking the Ogremon together, it created a large opening as its defenses were lowered and it would not easily detect an attack from behind. Pride lunged from the branch, withdrawing his kendo blade as he descended upon the Ogremon from behind and above. That's when Ryan stepped in as the tamer and took out his black D-Power Digivice while he also slid out a card from the holder on his belt. "Digi-Modify." He stated with a strong tone, his eyes intently locked upon his Kotemon while he slid the card through the scanner on the side of his Digivice. "Boltmon's Tomahawk activate!" Pride's kendo sword glowed brightly with packets of data whirling around it, transforming it into a very large tomahawk that was actually larger than the Kotemon whom was now wielding it. Boltmon was a mega level Digimon, thus with Pride wielding his weapon it would greatly enhance his abilities for a short amount of time. However, since Pride was only a Kotemon which was a Rookie Level Digimon, his capabilities of what he could handle were still limited. By Ryan's calculations, however, this should give him just enough of a boost to deal with this Ogremon. Now with all of his might, Pride wielded the large Tomahawk with his kendo gauntlets and started to coat it with his energy as he utilized his Wind Blade technique with the large battle axe. The thick blade was engulfed with sharp, swirling wind as Pride shouted "Wind Tomahawk!" and brought it down upon the Ogremon. The green ogre grunted with shock at the sudden outburst behind him. The champion frantically tried to turn around in time and raise his defenses, but he was unable to effectively counter as Pride brought the Tomahawk down upon the raised bone club, the sharp blades of wind slicing right through it with the help of the combined power behind the powerful axe. The bone club splintered and shattered at the point of impact and the tomahawk chopped right through it and continued on to deliver a powerful, vertical slash across the Ogremon's torso. The blast of wind after the slash sent the large champion flying backward, his back slamming into a tree as Pride landed gracefully on the ground, still wielding the Tomahawk. The Ogremon then slid to the ground with a large gash in his chest where particles of data started to leak from his form. "Now! He is weakened! Finish him off with everything you've got!" Ryan shouted to his Digimon, but he was also referring to the other tamers and their Digimon as well. This was their chance to strike down the Ogremon before it could recover from the attack and present them with more trouble. While he believed he and his Digimon could handle whatever this Ogremon dished out, he was not one to really show mercy or give wild Digimon a break...especially if they attacked him like this.[/style]

| The fight was an unbalanced thing, even with his Lopmon and the pair of shadow dinosaur's attempts to subdue the green monster, they didn't seem to be causing much damage. This guy was no push-over, that was for sure. He just seemed to shrug off any of the attacks aimed his way as if they were nothing. Theo glanced back at Atreyu, who had jumped out of range once more; hoping to send yet another shot of blustering cold air at the foe at a moment's notice. He was prepared for the fight, but the others members of his team weren't. Vincent was right beside him, though Oswald was nowhere in sight. Where was he? He glanced around before spotting him, dangerously close to the destruction that was going on nearby. He was just about to shout across to him, when Theo noticed the lion-esque Digimon hurtling towards the DemiDevimon and the other Lopmon that was stood close by. Back with Oswald, he shot a beaming grin at Xia. "We'll be A-okay! Don't you worry." He patted her head with a stumpy wing, his smile unfaltering. "If you don't wanna fight, I can look out for you." Oswald was especially glad that someone cared enough to worry about him. The fact that someone did care meant they were a true friend! Theo took note of the fact that the rabbit had left the others to help out in the brawl. Teaming up with the BlackAgumon, it seemed as if they were finally making some headway into beating this Ogremon. In the instant that the Champion level reared back, the Kotemon - belonging to the one known as Zero - leapt up, sword raised to strike a blow against the enemy. Theo did a double-take when the Digimon's Tamer calmly took that opportunity to unleash the powers of a digitally modifying card. He'd heard of them once or twice, yet never really considered using them before. And yet, they actually looked like they could be useful... No, wait, scratch that, beyond useful - the Ogremon's only source of a weapon was smashed to smithereens, along with it being dealt a good-sized injury. Seizing that chance while they had it, Theo silently gestured for Vincent to join in the fight with a tilt of his head. The penguin dashed forwards, his beak already brimming with the flickering embers and flames he produced. Pulling to a dead stop close to the other Tamer's Digimon, he unleashed the flow in one good blast, aiming dead on at the weakened ogre. Stunned as it was, it was unable to deflect the blows, taking each impact with a grunt and sluggishly narrowing eyes. Atreyu stepped up beside him, shooting out more of the same ice bullets directly at their foe. Oswald frowned, momentarily distracted by Zero's exclamation. Turning, he noticed that the others had all began to gang up on the damaged foe. He looked back at Xia. "Sorry, gotta help with this. But, hey! He's no match for us anymore! You wanna' join?" He gave her one last smile of invitation, and then fluttered over to the group of fighters, pulling forth the energy to unleash his own wave. He abruptly dove upwards, throwing his wings wide open to hurl syringes down upon the Ogremon. Some fell short, while others thunked across its chest and arms, weakening the Champion level even further. Satisfied, Oswald gently fluttered back down, landing once more upon the earth. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- SUMMARY Vincent (Muchomon) runs in to add his own barrage of attacks to the mix, spewing out Ardent Flare at the Ogremon.
